Start of classes of Junior and Senior High School students.
In the picture,students are getting ready to come to school on the next island. Approximately 25 minutes pumpboat ride with high fare expenses that burdens the parents.

Early this morning 9 members of ASFA INC together with 2 Board of Directors ,supervised by Anecito Leoligao and the Chairman conducted Mangrove Monitoring and inspection of the AEON Mangrove Plantation site.
6 women focused on rehabilitating some of the growing Mangroves that were inclined to one side due to poor hold on its roots and prone to damage by strong waves.They install a support stick into its growing Mangroves's branches hoping they can survive the waves and grow healthy.
7 Men were able to repair a 98 meters Mangrove fence and installed 105 pieces of bamboo poles..

May 16, 2026.
18 Members of ASFA INC together with 6 Japanese visitors from JEC -(Japan based) conducted the 4th Garbage Collection/Extraction in the Mangrove Forest of Purok 4 ,Alumar Getafe Bohol.
The activity lasted for almost 2 hours and was able to collect 478 kilos of Plastic wastes coming from Seaweeds farming residuals, 3 kilos of Household plastic wastes, 1 kilo of Hazardous wastes and 7 kilos of Biodegrable wastes.
