📖 1 Corinthians 10:31 — “Do it all for the glory of God.”

11/04/2026

There are days when you realize you can’t do everything on your own.

Pagod na ang isip, mabigat ang puso, at kulang na ang lakas. In moments like this, it’s okay to admit: “not in my strength.”

God never asked you to carry life alone. His strength meets you exactly where yours runs out.✨

📖: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

📖 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

So undeserving yet still so loved by God! ❤️✨

Repentance in a Believer’s Life

Proverbs 28:13-14- Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

The question is… Is repentance necessary in the Christian’s life? Yes, and we can see this truth in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” You may say, “The word repentance isn’t in that verse.” But let’s take a closer look.

Remember, “to repent” simply means to change your mind. For non-Christians, this refers to saving faith—the decision to place trust in Jesus. But for believers, repentance involves a change of heart with regard to behavior or attitude. It is an ongoing decision to lead an obedient, Christlike life.

In 1 John, this choice is represented by the word confess, which means “to agree with.” In other words, if you confess your wrongdoing to God, you are coming into agreement with Him about that sin and therefore disagreeing with your previous view.

Here, confession isn’t a matter of salvation; rather, it means allowing the Father to continually re-form your mind, molding you more and more into the image of His Son. As God continues to work in your life, your mind will gradually reject old thought patterns, and you’ll more closely represent His way of thinking.

Now, IT’S TIME TO REFLECT!

✨Is there sin in your life that has become too uncomfortable to bear? Confess it and allow God to change your heart today.

God is waiting for you to call! 📞 ✨

Reference Verse: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever,” ( Psalm 73:26)

Hannah wanted a child more than anything. 1 Samuel 1:8 describes her as “downhearted.” Something was missing from her life, and her husband Elkanah did everything he could to console her, even giving her a double portion but nothing satisfies the longing of her heart which is to have a child.

Even so, Hannah didn’t hide away like we are tempted to do when we felt empty. She didn’t vent, although the tears did flow. Instead, She went straight to the Source of all comfort. “Hannah decided to put her hope in God.” ❤️

Hannah’s resolve to trust in God changed her entire outlook. Instead of staying downhearted, she became hopeful. She traded discouraging thoughts for triumph. Let’s take a lesson from Hannah’s commitment. When we’ve had enough and we’re tempted to soothe our spirits with short-term comforts, let’s put down the remote and go straight to God in prayer. His comforting presence will be our portion when enough is enough.

Is something missing in your life today? Are you feeling unworthy, or are you fed up with daily frustrations?

Lamentations 3:24 says, “The Lord is my portion.” I hope we have learned what this means in a real, tangible way. We may not have the answers or know the outcome, but we did know this, “In all things, GOD is enough.”

God bless us! Make your God your portion! ✨
