𝘼𝙔𝘾 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 & 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙/𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝘾𝙋𝘾

Today, our young people are coming together for the 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨, a meaningful space for learning, participation, and youth empowerment. 💙

Throughout the program, resource speakers from various municipal departments shared valuable insights, experiences, and meaningful data that will help our young participants better understand the current situation, needs, and concerns of children and youth in our community.

Their contributions provide a stronger foundation for the formation of the AYC and for meaningful youth participation in local governance and child protection.

Later tonight, we will proceed with the election of the Child/Youth Representative to the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) giving our young people the opportunity to choose a representative who will carry their voices and perspectives forward.

And this is only the beginning. ✨

On August 22, 2026, the elected representatives will gather for the Plenary Session at the Alicia Community Center, where they will further engage in discussions and participate in matters concerning children and youth.

This activity is made even more meaningful through the support and partnership of Kaya Natin Youth - Alicia, JCI Alicia Pagay, Rotaract Club of Alicia, and Rotary Club of Alicia Pagay.

Today, young people gathered for the 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2 of 𝘼𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 an afternoon of learning, meaningful conversations, and youth participation.

Resource speakers from various municipal offices shared valuable insights and data on the current needs and concerns of children and youth, providing a meaningful foundation for the formation of the AYC.

Later tonight, our young participants will exercise their voice through the election of the Child/Youth Representative to the LCPC.

The journey continues on August 22 at the Alicia Community Center for the Plenary Session. ✨

𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧. 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘.

This 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ 𝐷𝑎𝑦, we celebrate a week filled with learning, participation, and opportunities for young people to lead.

Through the 𝐋𝐧𝐊 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐆𝐨𝐯 𝐋𝐚𝐛 – 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, and 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, our young people were given spaces to learn, share their ideas, take part in decision-making, and experience leadership firsthand.
