The SSI - Guidance Services Department would like to invite you for this school year’s 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 with the theme, “𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥-𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠". Ms. Therese Amita R. Dela Cruz, MA, RGC currently serves as the Vice President for Training and Research & Development for Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Inc. (APSA). She is also a UNESCO course facilitator for family literacy, intergenerational learning, and mental health.

Apatnapung taon na ang lumipas mula Pebrero 25, 1986, nang magtipon ang sambayanang Pilipino sa EDSA upang ipagtanggol ang demokrasya at karapatan ng bawat mamamayan. Ang 𝙀𝘿𝙎𝘼 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 ay hindi lamang isang pangyayari sa kasaysayan — ito ay patunay na kaya nating magkaisa para sa isang makatarungan at malayang lipunan.

Ang diwa ng People Power ay nananatiling inspirasyon sa maraming sektor, mula sa mga manggagawa hanggang sa mga estudyante, dahil ito ay sumasalamin sa kolektibong paninindigan ng mga Pilipino na itaguyod ang katotohanan at hustisya. Kahit apatnapung taon na ang lumipas, patuloy pa rin nating binibigyang halaga ang prinsipyo ng mapayapang pagkilos at pagkakaisa.

Pahalagahan natin ang ating kalayaan, manatiling mulat at may sapat na kaalaman, at gamitin ang ating mga tinig nang may pananagutan bilang mga mag-aaral para sa 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖.

Love month is finally here! 😍 Flowers in the hallways, heart reactions on stories, sweet posts on our feeds, soft-launches, hard-launches, and a whole lot of kilig everywhere. 💘 But beyond the bouquets and chocolates, the most important love that we all need to have is self-love.

Valentine’s Day is not just about having a special someone or receiving gifts. It’s also about appreciating yourself and the people who make your everyday life brighter, your friends, classmates, teachers, and family. 💞

This Valentine’s, let’s learn to prioritize loving ourselves just as much as we love others. Spend time with your friends. Share kindness. Write that appreciation message. Or simply take a break and recharge. 🧘‍♀️🤍
