Suffolk County youth ages 14–20: the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program is now open! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on paid work experience in fields like education, technology, government, community organizations, food service, hospitality, and agriculture.
Youth and families receiving SSI, Public Assistance, HEAP, Food Stamps, or Medicaid are automatically eligible. If your family meets the income guidelines, you may also qualify. Up to $2,975 can be earned this summer, and wages will not affect benefits for families receiving Public Assistance.
The program runs July 6, 2026 through August 21, 2026. Apply now by scanning the QR code before the deadline: Friday, June 18, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
