Successfully distributed x100 pack lunches (rice with buttered chicken and noodles) this week. To some of the Badjao community, known as sea nomads. Some of them dive into the water to find/catch coins. But some of them are also described as fisherfolks who have been using sustainable fishing methods for over 1,500 years (it’s an amazing technique and amazing people). They are one of a kind and it’s so nice to see their little faces smiling after receiving the goodies 🤍

Over the past few weeks we’ve been distributing the goodies... We’re proud and happy to share this video. You guys have helped 100 families by providing them with a Macbert’s goodie bag.

Each bag contained:

X5 kilos of rice
X2 types of can goods
X2 noodles

Cost:

X10 sacks of 50kgs of rice
2,300 pesos each = 23,000 pesos in total

X200 different types of can goods
21 pesos each = 4,200 pesos in total

X200 packs of noodles
10 pesos each = 2,000 pesos in total

29,200 pesos in total - £435

We are so happy to share that we’ve managed to distribute x100 meals (rice with noodles and fried chicken) successfully last week/January... 😊🥳

Again a massive shout out to my amazing friends who have sponsored last week’s treat and for making it happen! 🤍

Exactly one month ago today (7/7/21)...
Unfortunately, a big fire occurred in our little town in Inayawan, Cebu (as shown on the photos) Sadly, it affected 5 homes and around 8 families lived there. 💔 Luckily, no one got hurt! ❤️

We just wanted to say a massive thanks to these kind hearted sponsors last month for their donations.. We’ve managed to visit them on the 11th July in their temporary shelter (Sports Complex) to distribute some goodies ❤️

X3 kgs
X3 different type of can goods

We can’t wait to share with you some exciting news our new project / Macbert’s Charity goals... ❤️

Rainy season has arrived in the Philippines, so we would love to help atleast a little by providing some roofing (sin) to some locals that are really in need to keep them dry... ❤️😊❤️

Ania na sad ang mga bulan nga ting uwan og ting bagyo 😔 (June-November), og basi sa na experienced namo sa among kaugalingon nga panimalay nga pirmi usab bahaon. 🙈Nakasabot sad gud mi unsa ka lisod ang situation hilabi na gaabot ang tubig gikan sa kanal og sa busluton namong mga sin usahay! 😔 Mao nang bahalag ginagmay gusto lang sad mi motabang sa uban nga nanginahanglan kaayo og kapasilongan.. 😊 Mao nang ni decide mi na magtinabangay para maka hatag og 1 - 4 ka sin kada pamilya.. 😍

So please kong kinsa tong gusto motabang please ayaw ka ikog og reach out, magtinabangay ta kay dako na kaayo nag matabang sa uban natong kahigsuonan nga nanginahanglan.. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Og please kong kinsa tong naay kaila nga nanginahanglan kaayo og sin/atop, palihog contact lang sa actual namong page sa “Macbert’s Charity” og adto i message ang request... 😊❤️😘

Mao kini sila ang mga una na batch nga nahatagan, dakong pasalamat sa akong Pedro nga ni support sa maong project! ❤️ Og sa akong pamilya pud na naningkamot ma distribute and mga sin... 😊

Here’s some highlights from February distribution. We’ve managed to help at least 156 pack lunches and 22 Macbert’s bag to the locals in need. 😊🎉 A huge thanks to these kind super heroes for helping our little feeding program back in the Philippines! ❤️😊
