Let’s be real—misinformation spreads faster than facts, and that stigma? It hurts real people. 💔

We proudly congratulate our very own Kingsley John de los Santos for receiving the MEXT Scholarship (Research Category). 🎉👏🏻

Kingsley will be pursuing his PhD in Japan, focusing on tropical and subtropical ecosystems. Beyond his academic achievements, he has been instrumental to Team Dugong Bughaw (TDB), starting as a volunteer in 2016 and eventually taking on critical leadership roles as Peer Educators Committee Head, Project Manager for Externals, and Research & Development Manager over the years. His passion for service and research has helped in shaping TDB’s success.

We sincerely thank everyone who dropped by The Nook, engaged with our educational and fun games 😏, and learned more about the organization and our advocacy to 🩵

Your curious minds about HIV & AIDS, and Sexual Health provided us an avenue to advocate and promote a stigma-free UPV community. 🫶

Team Dugong Bughaw - UPV conducted its first general assembly last February 11, 2026. 🩵🌈

The event included an introduction of the officers and members, a celebration of past achievements, and announcements of future events of the organization. Through various activities and games, the residents were also able to bond with each other and meet the special guest 😏

It was a time filled with learning and enjoyment where we got to . As we are now ready to stand in this meaningful cause, TDB-UPV is looking forward to more engaging activities with its resident members in the university to advocate for a stigma-free community. 🖐️😉
