The flame of faith and youthfulness shone brightly as the Saint Vincent Ferrer Batad Parish Youth Ministry joyfully took part in the Archdiocesan Youth Day (AYD) last November 29–30 in Passi City. This meaningful celebration, organized by the Archdiocese of Jaro, gathered young people from different parishes to deepen their love for the Church and strengthen their mission as young disciples. Guided by the theme “Rejoice in Hope, Endure in Affliction, Persevere in Prayer” (Romans 12:12), our delegates embraced a renewed commitment to serve, grew in devotion to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, and were blessed as pilgrims ready to carry the light of Christ wherever they go.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported this journey. Most especially to our shepherd, Rev. Fr. Jericho Veñarta, thank you for your constant prayers, motivation, and unwavering support for our youth. We also offer our sincerest appreciation to the LGU of Batad for generously providing transportation for our delegates. Your support ensured that our young participants could safely and comfortably take part in this meaningful pilgrimage. We likewise acknowledge the kindness of the private individuals whose contributions made this experience even more memorable. Your generosity truly reflects the spirit of Christian unity and service.
Throughout the two-day event, our young parishioners experienced inspiring sessions, moments of deep prayer, joyful fellowship, and new friendships that strengthened their faith. Witnessing our Batad delegates participate with enthusiasm and dedication was truly uplifting. They return to our parish with fresh inspiration—ready to serve, to lead, and to become living witnesses of God’s love in their daily lives.
Let us continue praying for our youth as they bring their AYD encounters back to our community. They are not only the hope of tomorrow—they are a vibrant and essential part of our Church today. Together, let us celebrate their dedication and growth. Mabuhay ang Kabataang Katoliko ng Jaro!✨😇
