𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤| seven scouts of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Troop 282 and 169 partook in the 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝙂𝙎𝙈𝙎) last Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Iloilo Girl Scout Council

The Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme is known as one of the highest achievements a girl scout can get. Conducting a community program for one year they must face the challenges of responsibility, determination, faith, and resilience.

As we celebrate and commemorate the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we honor and recognize the sacrifice and bravery of our ancestors who not only fought for our country's independence—but also for our freedom to have rights, make choices, and have the autonomy to live however we like.

This June 12, 2026, Friday, at the Historical Victory Plaza, Santa Barbara Iloilo, scouts of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟴𝟮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟲𝟵 took part in celebrating the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱. Displaying pride and patriotism, their presence highlights their commitment as youth who proudly love and serve the country, reminding everyone of the liberty they have to live however they like.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤| driven with the motive to serve, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Troop 282 and 169 participated in this year's Brigada Eskwela this June 1, 2026, at Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School. Uniting as one to voluntarily help clean the surroundings of the school to make it "Back to School" ready this opening of classes. 🧹🫧

"𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗" 💫

After a month of dedication and hardwork, finally the project of the West Visayas State University College of Communication (COC-SC) which was entitled "𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃, 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊, 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖" has officially come to a close last May 30, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

The "𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃, 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊, 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖" project stands as a testament to the power of literacy, leadership, and community collaboration.

During the ceremony, our President, Cdt. GS Mary Khyle Castellano and member, Cdt. GS Hazel Ann Sendino, represented our organization and received an award for partaking and assisting in this very project.

As we close this chapter, we carry forward its core message: to lead is to read, and to read is to grow.📚☘️

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines Troop 282 and 169, coordinated with Santa Barbara NCHS's Supreme Secondary Learner Governement (SSLG) and West Visayas State University College of Communication (COC-SC) carried on the final session of the project "𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬! "

Yesterday, May 23, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo, the final session of this project was held. After weeks of tutoring ang developing the children's cognitive skills, it has finally come to an end. Thanks to this partnership, we were able to make a change and help the kids within our community. 🌟💞

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines Troop 282 and 169, with Santa Barbara NCHS's Supreme Secondary Learner Governement (SSLG) once again joined hands and helped the West Visayas State University - College Of Communication Student Council (COC-SC) throughout the third session session of their project, "𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬."

Yesterday, May 16, 2026, at Brgy Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo. These organizations helped in nurturing children grades 1-5 by guiding them with not only knowledge, but also patience and determination to understand what is being taught. 💚

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines Troop 282 and 169, together with the Santa Barbara NCHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) volunteered in tutoring children of the project by the
College of Communication Student Council (COC-SC) entitled "𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃, 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊, 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖. " 🌱

Guiding around 40 children through different levels of numeracy and literacy workbooks. The project was held today, May 9, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
