Rotary Club of Iloilo South D3850 joined the global End Polio Now campaign through a community outreach held on July 8, 2026. The activity included the administration of the oral polio vaccine, an educational session on the importance of polio prevention and immunization, colorful handprint activities by children as a symbol of a polio-free future, fun games, and snacks for participating families. Through this initiative, the club continues to raise awareness, promote childhood immunization, and strengthen our commitment to protecting every child from polio while serving the community with compassion and hope.

Rotary District 3850 Clubs from Zones 1, 2, and 3 came together for a District-Wide Blood Donation Drive. Through the generosity of our clubs and volunteer blood donors, we continue to create lasting impact—one donation, one life at a time.

Our evening concluded with a special awarding of certificates and tokens of appreciation to everyone who helped and supported President Elsie Locsin throughout her Rotary year. Your dedication and commitment made the year a meaningful and successful one.

The celebration continued with a fun fellowship dinner filled with laughter and camaraderie. We were entertained by a beautiful song number from PJ and an energetic dance performance by Doc Rollin. Before long, everyone joined the dance floor, making it a truly joyful and memorable evening.

We were honored by the presence of Rotary International Director Edna Sutter, Rotary Foundation Fund Development Specialist Gretchen Laurel, and District Governor Pip. Their fellowship and encouragement made the celebration even more special.

Thank you to everyone who made this memorable evening possible. Here's to another year of Service Above Self!

Another Service that create impact in the community, when Mill Hill Missionaries Formation House, Mandurriao on June 21, 2026 worked together with Rotary Club of Iloilo South D3850. There was several activities such as:
✅ Cervical cancer screening: 12 women served
✅ Medical consultation Adult & Pedia: 136 patients served

148 lives touched in one morning because our RCIS team showed up. More than numbers — these are mothers, children, and families who now have better access to care.

Congratulations RCIS! Proud of every volunteer, doctor, and partner who made this happen 🙏

Rotary Club President Job Description
The Rotary Club President serves a one-year term as the chief executive of the chapter, responsible for leading meetings, managing finances, and implementing service projects. They inspire members, foster a positive environment, and ensure the club aligns with Rotary International’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

Club Leadership: Preside over weekly club and monthly board meetings, create agendas, and secure engaging guest speakers.

Strategic Planning: Assess club strengths and weaknesses to set annual goals using Rotary Club Central.

Financial Oversight: Work with the treasurer to develop a club budget and ensure regular financial audits are conducted.

Committee Management: Appoint committee chairs, oversee their progress, and ensure committees are functioning effectively.

District Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for the District Governor and Assistant Governor.

Training: Attend mandatory preparatory events, including the President-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) and the Club Leadership Learning Seminar.

With a clear roadmap and united vision by presenting their plans or ideas in each assigned projects to us, we’re ready to serve our community with more focus and impact this Rotary year. Supporting the club and incoming Club Pres. Anne Tacogdoy.🥰
