Congratulations to our very own President, Dr. Elsie Locsin , together with the officers and members of the Rotary Club of Iloilo South, for bringing honor to our club by winning both the MOST OUTSTANDING CLUB and MOST OUTSTANDING PRESIDENT awards in the Medium-Sized Club Category during the recently concluded District 3850 District Conference held in Roxas City, Capiz from May 7–9, 2026.
Aside from these two prestigious recognitions, RC Iloilo South was also honored with the following awards and achievements:
• Highest Annual Fund Per Capita Contribution to The Rotary Foundation (TRF)
• 2nd Highest Total Club Giving to TRF
• 2nd Highest Individual Giving to TRF by PP Nilo and PP Dialita Jardeleza
• Community Service Award
• Maternal & Child Health Area of Focus Award for our Cervical Cancer Screening project through our TRF Global Grant-sponsored Mobile Clinic
• Family of Rotary Service Award
• Exemplary Rotarian Award for PP Rotarian Eva Jaena
These recognitions are a testament to the dedication, compassion, and spirit of service of every Rotarian in RC Iloilo South.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to District Governor Pip Acepcion and the District 3850 officers for Rotary Year 2025–2026 for their inspiring leadership, guidance, and unwavering support to all the clubs in the district. Congratulations to a super successful District Conference.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners in service, benefactors, family members, Rotary leaders, and the many private and government organizations who continue to support the numerous projects and advocacies of our club. A special mention of our gratitude to our ever hardworking and efficient Past President Dan Balagtas for his sleepless nights in preparing for our club awards bid book.
