Thursday, October 1, 2026 — Happy Feast Day of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus! 🌹

Daily Reflection

Today, Job declares in the midst of suffering, “I know that my Vindicator lives.” The Gospel then sends us outward: Jesus sends His disciples two by two, asking them to travel lightly, depend on God, bring peace into every home, care for the sick, and proclaim that His Kingdom is near. Today’s Gospel is Luke 10:1–12.

St. Thérèse beautifully connects these readings. Her “Little Way” teaches us that following Jesus does not always require extraordinary accomplishments. We can serve His mission through small things done with great love—a kind word, patience, forgiveness, prayer, or quiet service. Even when we feel small or weak, God can make our love fruitful.

Resolution of the Day

Today, I will travel lightly with Jesus—letting go of unnecessary worries, pride, and the need to control everything. I will do at least one small act with great love and bring Christ’s peace wherever I go. St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, teach me your Little Way of humility, trust, and love. Pray for us. Happy Feast Day! Amen. 🌹🙏❤️✝️

Daily Reflection

Today, Job reminds us that God’s wisdom is greater than what we can understand, while the Psalm teaches us to continue praying even when God seems silent. In the Gospel, Jesus encounters people who sincerely want to follow Him, but each has a reason to delay. Jesus teaches that discipleship cannot always wait until life becomes convenient: “Follow me” is a call to trust Him now.

Following Jesus does not mean that we will understand everything or that the road will always be comfortable. It means choosing Him even amid uncertainty, surrendering what holds us back, and continuing forward without constantly looking behind us. Faith says: Lord, I may not know where this road will lead, but I know whom I am following.

Resolution of the Day

Today, I will follow Jesus without saying, “But first…” I will surrender one worry, attachment, or hesitation that keeps me from fully trusting Him. When I do not understand what God is doing, I will continue to pray, move forward, and say: “Lord Jesus, wherever You lead me, help me follow faithfully and never look back.” Amen. 🙏❤️✝️

Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels

Daily Reflection

Today’s readings remind us that God sees us even when we think no one does. Nathanael is astonished when Jesus tells him, “I saw you under the fig tree.” Before Nathanael approached Him, Jesus already knew him—his heart, his thoughts, his sincerity, and perhaps even the prayers he carried silently within him.

Jesus sees us in the same way. He sees the struggles we do not speak about, the good we do without recognition, and the prayers known only to Him. And He promises Nathanael something greater: heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. On this feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, we are reminded that God is never distant and that His providence surrounds us in ways we may not always see or understand.

Resolution of the Day

Today, I will remember that Jesus sees me, knows me, and calls me personally. I will bring Him the things hidden in my heart and trust Him even when I cannot see what He is doing. Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, accompany and protect us, and help us remain faithful to God’s will. Amen. 🙏❤️✝️

Daily Reflection

Today’s readings remind us that there is a time and purpose for everything under heaven, but at the center of every season of our lives must be Jesus. The Psalm calls God our rock, our fortress, and our strength—the One who remains constant even when circumstances change.

In the Gospel, Jesus asks His disciples a deeply personal question: “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answers, “The Christ of God.” Jesus asks the same of us today. It is not enough to know what others say about Him; our answer must come from our own encounter with Him. And that answer is ultimately shown not merely by our words, but by how faithfully we follow Him, especially when following Him requires sacrifice.

Resolution of the Day

Today, I will answer Jesus not only with my lips but with my life: “You are my Lord and my God.” In every decision, responsibility, difficulty, and blessing, I will choose to follow Him more faithfully and trust that He has a purpose for every season of my life. 🙏❤️✝️
