WINS Club, YES-O, KPSEP and KaTroPam Unite to Honor Teachers on Teachers’ Day
Recognizing the dedication, guidance, and lasting influence of educators, WINS Club, YES-O, KPSEP, and KaTroPam Teen Center joined forces to honor their advisers through a Teachers’ Day mini tribute program.
The celebration paid tribute to Ma’am Ellen Mana-ay, YES-O and WINS Club Adviser, and Ma’am Marie Belle Delos Santos, KPSEP Adviser and KaTroPam Teen Center Coordinator, for their continued service and commitment to the students of Binaba-an National High School. Japhtie Labordo served as the master of ceremonies.
The mini program opened with a prayer led by Jethro Ray Jaque, followed by messages of appreciation from the KaTroPam Teen Center President and Vice President, YES-O President, and KPSEP President, expressing gratitude for the teachers’ guidance and dedication.
Among the messages, KaTroPam Teen Center President Jan Laurenz Lavente highlighted the lasting impact of teachers, emphasizing that their influence extends beyond academic instruction and contributes to the personal growth and development of their students.
“A good teacher does not simply tell you that you are right; a great teacher has the courage to tell you where you are wrong, because they believe you can become better,” Lavente said.
The message underscored the role of teachers in guiding students not only through knowledge but also through correction, encouragement, and direction as they grow.
The tribute continued with a video message from former students, recalling the influence, lessons, and memories they received from their teachers.
The program concluded with a prayer led by Jaque, bringing the celebration to a meaningful close.
Through the collaboration of WINS Club, YES-O, KPSEP, and KaTroPam Teen Center, the Teachers’ Day celebration served as an expression of appreciation for educators whose service continues to shape learners and whose influence extends beyond the classroom.
