𝗦𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗢𝗙𝗙, 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗡 |
The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization of Tagudin National High School actively participated in Earth Hour on March 28, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

By switching off lights, YES-O members showed their support in addressing our problems regarding climate change.

Back then, climate change was not that severe. But as time passes, it continues to worsen due to human activities such as improper waste disposal, burning of fossil fuels,etc.

Through the unity of YES-O members, they successfully supported Earth Hour by switching off lights while enjoying every single moment. Within one hour, they enjoyed stargazing and candle lights while drawing, playing a puppet show, and reflecting on the thing they can share to protect our Planet Earth.

Thus, this Earth Hour is not just a simple act; rather, it is an act that shows how a brighter future can be given by this generation to the next.

PURPLE-ED FORCES I
The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization of Tagudin National High School, in collaboration with the SSLG, BKD, and LRP, successfully carried out the “Purple Day” celebration on March 25, 2026—a Division-wide campaign dedicated to women’s empowerment.

Students and Officers proudly showed their support by wearing violet, purple, and white shirts adorned with ribbons, alongside the display of creative placards and poster slogans across the campus. Guided by the leadership of YES-O, SSLG, BKD, and LRP officers, the event became a vibrant expression of unity and advocacy.

More than just a celebration, this collective effort reflects a strong commitment to uplifting women globally and serves as a meaningful step toward continued empowerment across all nations.

As part of Science Month 2025 with the theme “Spatialyze: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutions,” the YES-O, BKD, SSLG, and LRP Officers, together with the Science Teachers, in partnership with the LGU of Tagudin through MENRO, joined hands for a Tree Planting and Coastal Clean-up Drive in Sawat and Tarangutong, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur. Together, we grow trees, protect our coasts, and create a cleaner, greener future. 💚🌊

With the leadership of Mr. Mardencio L. Valdez, Principal III of Tagudin National High School, student leaders and teachers took part in the celebration of The 37th National Disaster Resilience Month 2025, with the theme “KUMIKILOS para sa Kahandaan, Kaligtasan, at Katatagan.” 💪

The DRRM EXPO aims to strengthen community's involvement in disaster prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response and rehabilitation and recovery.

We are glad and grateful to be part of this event—being able to inspire and take actions towards promoting preparedness, safety, and resilience. “Nurturing quality life for all.” 🍃💚

𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟! ✂️
Exactly one year ago, Project PIDU-TEACH started from scratch — just an idea fueled by passion for sustainability and youth empowerment. And this time, we celebrate its official launch, now fully equipped and ready to make a difference!

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by our President, Danilo III L. Ibay, together with our dedicated advisers, Ms. Angelica Valdez and Mrs. Golda Alquiza Tilang.

This project, which proudly secured a spot in the 𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝟏𝟎 of the Spring Development Grant (SDG) during the Siglat Festival, that equips students with an entrepreneurial mindset and prepares them for business.

Thanks to the grant, we now have:
* 𝟐 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐤 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
* 𝟔 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
* 𝟏𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

We thank everyone who believed in us from the very beginning. From nothing to something — Project PIDU-TEACH is now a reality. Let’s keep sewing a greener future, together!

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗜𝗕𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗔 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘!

The Division YES-O Camp was held on November 22-24 at San Pedro National High School. Students from different schools gathered to learn more about the environment and how to protect it. The camp aimed to teach young leaders the importance of taking care of nature through fun activities and workshops.

Danilo III L. Ibay, YES-O President, and Aprele P. Lascota, YES-O Grade 12 Representative, proudly represented Tagudin NHS. They showed great enthusiasm and dedication as they participated in different challenges and projects.

Their passion for the environment stood out as they have been named as Most Outstanding Participants and Group Champion (Danilo Ibay). Ibay also lead a talk session about How to Write an Action Plan.

These achievements prove that they care deeply about making a difference.🌱💚

Science Club Month is celebrated every month of September but it’s better too late than never! This year’s Science Month Club Celebration theme is: “Rebuilding Resilient Communities: Embracing Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future” and Tagudin National High School-JHS Department joins this celebration through conducting Science Contests within the school. One of the contested events is the Sci-Video Advocacy, wherein students have prepared advocacy videos to promote Science in relation to the theme.
