PUBLIC ADVISORY

During the visit of the Chief of Police of the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Hilongos to HNVS, an important reminder was shared regarding the responsible handling of information related to school safety and security. The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen awareness and encourage the school community to remain vigilant while ensuring that only verified information is shared.

In light of recent incidents, particularly the unfortunate shooting incident involving a school in Leyte, the Chief of Police emphasized the need for everyone to be cautious and to avoid spreading unverified reports that may cause fear, panic, or misinformation in the community.

It was explained that if teachers, learners, parents, or community members receive information about any alleged school-related incident or threat, the matter should first be coordinated with the School Head. The School Head will then coordinate with the Philippine National Police (PNP), so that the information can be properly verified before any official announcement or action is made.

The school community is encouraged to remain vigilant while also being responsible in sharing information. Through proper coordination and verification, we can help ensure the safety of our learners and prevent the spread of misinformation that may unnecessarily alarm the public.

Dear M Lhuillier Team,

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and learners of Hilongos National Vocational School, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of the two "SLOW DOWN SCHOOL ZONE" road safety signages.

As a school located along a busy area, ensuring the safety of our learners and teaching staff during arrival and dismissal times is always our utmost priority. Your donation of these durable, highly visible safety barricades will significantly help alert motorists, manage traffic flow, and create a safer environment for everyone walking to and from the campus.

M Lhuillier’s consistent commitment to community welfare and corporate social responsibility shines brightly through actions like this. We are incredibly fortunate to have your organization as a partner in safeguarding the well-being of our community's youth.

Thank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for local education and safety. We wish your team continued success in all your future endeavors.

With highest regards and appreciation,

Sir Richard A. Gabison and the entire HNVS Family
