The ๐†๐‚๐”๐‚-๐‘๐Ž๐“๐‚ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ, ๐ข๐ง ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž (๐‚๐Š๐‚), successfully conducted its 5th Joint ROTC Training Session on 05 September 2026 at the GCUC Campus.

The half-day training commenced with formation and rank inspection, followed by QR-code attendance monitoring. Cadets then participated in Drills and Ceremonies, strengthening discipline, coordination, teamwork, military bearing, and respect for authority through the proper ex*****on of military movements and commands.

As part of the day's instructional activities, the GCUC Cadets participated in a ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ (๐๐‹๐’) ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ by ๐—–๐—ฃ๐—Ÿ. ๐— ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ก ๐—˜. ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—๐—ข, ๐—ฃ๐—” (๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—ฆ), Head of the Gingoog City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

The session equipped cadets with essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to emergencies and performing basic life-saving interventions, reinforcing the importance of preparedness, quick response, and civic responsibility.

The training concluded with formal QR-code log-out and orderly dismissal

The joint training setup further strengthened unity, camaraderie, teamwork, and shared purpose among the clustered ROTC units while reinforcing the values of discipline, military preparedness, leadership, and civic responsibility.

The ROTC Unit conducted its joint training session today at GCUC Campus, bringing together cadets from GCUC and CKC in a consolidated formation for unified instruction and efficient supervision.

The half-day program opened with formation and rank inspection, followed by QR-code attendance monitoring. Cadets then engaged in drills and ceremony, honing discipline, coordination, teamwork, and respect for authority through practiced movements and commands.

GCUC cadets attended instructional sessions: Cpl April Rose G. Jadol discussed the Standard of Conduct of a Soldier, covering core values and ethical service standards; while Cpl Jessie S. Balatero lectured on the Code of Citizenship, highlighting patriotism, civic duty, and respect for the law.

Meanwhile, CKC cadets took their Preliminary Examination, assessing their knowledge and comprehension of all topics covered in prior training sessions.

As ROTC Cadets, we are trained to serve our country. Service is not only shown through drills and uniforms, but also through simple yet meaningful acts of kindnessโ€”such as donating blood. This is our way of protecting lives beyond the battlefield.
On August 15, 2026, the ROTC Cadets of Gingoog City United Colleges (GCUC), under the GCUC NSTP Office and in coordination with the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), actively participated in a Bloodletting Activity held at Mother Ignacia Gym.
In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Gingoog City Chapter, this initiative provided an opportunity for cadets to extend their service to the community through voluntary blood donation.
Each cadetโ€™s willingness to donate blood reflects the core values instilled in the ROTC programโ€”discipline, patriotism, compassion, and social responsibility.
This collaborative effort between GCUC, CKC, 10RCDG, and the Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Gingoog highlights the strength of unified action in building a healthier and more resilient community.

The 10th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army formally commenced the 2-Day Follow-up Training/Orientation and Capability Enhancement Seminar. The opening ceremony was highlighted by the Welcome Remarks and Introduction of Participants delivered by the Group Commander, 10RCDG, RESCOM, PA who warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of the seminar in enhancing the competence of reservist leaders.
