On April 11, 2026, the Rotary Satellite Club of DadiangasโGeneral Santos City Service Pioneers marked a defining moment in its journey with the successful conduct of its 1st Induction Ceremony at the Greenleaf Hotel. It was an evening filled with pride, purpose, and a shared commitment to serve.
Distinguished guests and leaders came together to witness this milestone, including District Governor Angel "Jong" G. Fernandez Jr., Governor Nominee Edwin Valencia, Assistant Governors of Areas 2FGH, District Officers, club presidents and secretaries, Rotaractors, as well as family and friendsโeach one adding meaning and support to this important beginning.
More than a formal ceremony, the induction reflected the true essence of Rotaryโindividuals coming together, united by a common purpose and guided by the principle of Service Above Self. The newly inducted members now carry this shared responsibility, ready to serve with compassion, integrity, and action.
The evening also marked a significant achievement, as the Satellite Club proudly emerged as the largest in Rotary International District 3860 Philippinesโfurther strengthening the legacy of the Rotary Club of Dadiangas. At the heart of this milestone is the leadership of its first Chairman, Rotarian Elena Tiongson, whose dedication helped bring this vision to life, alongside the support of her spouse, Assistant Governor Mark Jerome Tiongson.
As the ceremony transitioned into a joyful fellowship, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, connection, and celebration. The newly inducted members shared a special performance, a reflection of the camaraderie and spirit that will continue to guide the club in its journey ahead.
It was not just the start of a new clubโit was the beginning of a shared mission. A commitment to serve, to lead, and to create lasting impact in the community. Together, we move forward as People of Action.
