The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – South Cotabato–General Santos City Chapter, in partnership with Tanglaw-Diwa Law Clinic, Mindanao State University – General Santos, successfully conducted a Legal Aid Caravan on:

📚 LEGAL EDUCATION LECTURE

The IBP South Cotabato–General Santos City Chapter, in partnership with the Tanglaw-Diwa Law Clinic and IBP Sarangani Chapter, conducted a legal education lecture for the students of Malandag National High School.

The lecture focused on the following important topics:

⚖️ Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006 (R.A. No. 9344)
💻 Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (R.A. No. 10175)

The activity aimed to promote legal awareness among students, help them understand their rights and responsibilities, and provide practical knowledge on juvenile justice, child protection, and responsible use of technology and cyberspace.

⚖️ FREE LEGAL AID SERVICES | ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PARISH

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – South Cotabato–General Santos City Chapter, in partnership with St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Brgy. City Heights, General Santos City, successfully conducted a Free Legal Aid Activity on September 26, 2026 (Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.

The activity provided parishioners with access to free legal consultation, notarization, and assistance in the preparation of simple legal documents and affidavits.

The IBP SocGen Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to St. Michael the Archangel Parish for opening its doors and supporting this meaningful initiative.

Special thanks to our dedicated volunteer lawyers who generously shared their time, knowledge, and legal expertise in service of the community. ⚖️❤️

BRINGING LEGAL EDUCATION AND SERVICE CLOSER TO THE COMMUNITY

Law Student Practitioners, under the supervision of Vice Dean & CLEP Director Atty. Donna Ann T. Balboa, successfully conducted their Law Clinic at Barangay Bula, General Santos City—a meaningful on-the-ground initiative that embodies the very heart of the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP).

Stepping beyond the four walls of the classroom, these future lawyers brought legal education and assistance closer to the community, providing accessible legal guidance, information, and support to residents who needed it most.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – South Cotabato–General Santos City (SOCGEN) Chapter, in partnership with the Tanglaw-Diwa Law Clinic and Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), brings free legal assistance closer to the community.
