🌳 Kabataang Makakalikasan, Sama-sama Kontra Droga! 💚

On August 20, 2025, students came together for a meaningful tree planting activity held within the school grounds, guided and supported by the dedicated Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) officers. This initiative aimed not only to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among the youth but also to strengthen their stand against the harmful effects of illegal drugs.

By planting trees, our young leaders symbolized growth, hope, and a cleaner, greener future—proving that today's youth can be champions of nature and advocates for a drug-free life. 🌱✨

🗓️ Barkada Kontra Droga – July Weekly Highlights!

With the support of our dedicated MaPEH teacher, each week of July focused on promoting a healthier, smoke-free lifestyle:

🎨 Week 1: Creativity in action during our Digital and Non-Digital Poster Making Contest.

🗣️ Week 2: Classroom talks raised awareness about the dangers of smoking and va**ng.

📱 Week 3: Students used their voice through TikTok and video advocacy campaigns.

🤍 Week 4: We wore white masks for White for Lungs Day, symbolizing our commitment to clean and healthy lungs.

Together, we say no to smoking, no to drugs, and yes to a healthier youth! 💪

LOOK: Newly Elected BKD Officers 2025-2026 (JHS & SHS)

On the afternoon of June 24, 2025, members of Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) gathered in the Extension room for JHS led by Maam Fatima D. Mallare, and in Shs building led by Sir Jayson Del Rosario for the election of new officers. After a short opening prayer, the election committee—made up of two teachers and several senior students—explained how the voting would work and reminded everyone of BKD’s mission to support a drug-free youth community.

The simple yet open voting process reinforced BKD’s values of democratic participation and integrity. As the event drew to a close with a final prayer, students stayed behind to plan with school officials and to begin mapping out their first anti-drug initiatives. The use of the hand-raising method provided a visible, quick, and inclusive way to select leaders, emphasizing clarity and group involvement.
