✨ Our new and old catios😻

We’re happy to share that our new catio is now semi-completed (no ceilings yet). More cats are now going in and out of it and we’ve been training them to stay there by feeding them there, to prepare them when the heavy rain season starts. Some cats (mostly the older ones) still prefer to stay at the old catio. Also, the patients have to stay at the old one for better access as it is directly connected to our kitchen. All cats are free-roaming inside the property while the dogs only have access to the main house and until the gated areas.

SNEAK PEEK OF THE NEW CATIO 👀

We've been planning to renovate this little room into a bigger catio since last year but due to multiple financial constraints, the plan was always put on hold. Early this year, we started doing it little by little and targeted to finish it before the summer ends so the cats will have a bigger and better place to stay when the rainy season starts. It is now almost complete and some cats have started lounging inside 😻

❎ BANDING IS A FORM OF ANIMAL CRUELTY ❎

These two rescues suffered from the same cruelty though they were caught from different locations. Both of their balls and p***ses were tied with a rope or rubber band.

Nicolai had a severe damage wherein his private parts were totally gone and his spermatic cord was seen hanging from the injury site. He had to undergo perineal urethrostomy to salvage what's left. Nicolai had stayed at the clinic for almost two months due to the severity of his case.

Nolan's case had just started a few days ago before his rescue so his p***s was saved though it's still inflamed. The rubber bands were removed and he got neutered the right way. The markings of the rubber bands can still be seen days after his surgery.

It’s 10PM and the electricity has been off for three hours already. Some electric wires or posts might have been damaged due to the strong winds earlier. The dogs are panting as it’s still summer and the temperature is high even at night.
