๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ || As part of Su***de Prevention Month this September, the Guidance and Counseling Services Center conducted a Su***de Prevention Training entitled, โGATEKEEPERS OF HOPE: A Su***de Prevention Training for Student Leadersโ on September 10, 2026 at the ESSU-Guiuan Function Hall.
The seminar was attended by various student organizations, including the ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ (๐๐๐๐), bringing together student leaders who are willing to learn, listen, and become a source of support for their fellow students.
The training highlighted ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ, ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ก๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐ฅ. It also discussed the ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ฃ๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฎ ๐ข๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ช๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐จ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐, reminding student leaders to pay attention, and listen without judgment.
๐ฟ๐ง. ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ก๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐-๐๐๐จ๐ค๐ฃ, Head of the ๐๐ช๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐จ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ, emphasized the important role of student leaders as being a bridge to connect students and seek professional support. With thousands of students in the university, the Guidance and Counseling Services may not be able to reach everyone directly. So as student leaders who are closely connected with their peers, they can help recognize students who may be experiencing difficulties and guide them toward appropriate support.
