The launching program gathered university officials, faculty members, student leaders, donors, and beneficiaries in a meaningful celebration of unity and community support. A blessing ceremony and Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Robel G. Gicole highlighted the event, offering prayers for the success and sustainability of both initiatives.
Project AMUMA, spearheaded by the SAS and GAD Offices, aims to provide a safe and nurturing temporary childcare space for student-parents, solo parents, faculty, and staff within the campus community. Designed to promote care and inclusivity, the project serves as a support system for parents balancing academic and professional responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Project PAG-AGAPAY, a collaborative initiative of the SAS Office, Supreme Student Council (SSC), and Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), was established to extend assistance to economically challenged students through donated school supplies, clothing, hygiene kits, and other essential items.
These initiatives reflect the universityโs commitment to compassion, service, and shared responsibility, proving that small acts of kindness can create meaningful impact within the community.
