RCDE 6200 Supports Area 1G Bloodletting Drive

The Area 1G Bloodletting Activity, led by Assistant Governor Joseph Tumacole in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross – Negros Oriental Chapter, gathered Rotarians, Rotaractors, volunteers, and community partners in a united effort to help save lives through blood donation.

In line with Rotary's Youth Month, the Rotaract Club of Silliman University (RACSU) took the lead with the guidance of its father club, the Rotary Club of Dumaguete East (RCDE) and its Satellite Club 6200. The activity was strongly supported by the Rotary Club of Dumaguete, the Rotary Club of Dumaguete North and its Satellite Club Northern Lights, and the Rotary Club of Dumaguete South and its Satellite Club Golden Negros.

Through the collective efforts of the participating clubs, every blood donor received two kilos of rice, half a tray of eggs, bottled water, and a meal as a token of appreciation. RCDE's contribution to the donor packs was made possible through the generosity of Siaton Farms, which donated eggs, together with RCDE members and Rotary Anns who contributed rice, food, bottled water, and financial support.

The bloodletting drive was a success, bringing people together not only to donate blood but also to save lives. More than a service project, it became a celebration of fellowship and unity among the Rotary family.

The activity concluded with a fellowship lunch attended by Rotarians, Rotary Anns, spouses, and volunteers. The gathering was graciously hosted by RCDE Sec B**g Villagracia and Spouse Aubrey Villagracia. They opened their lovely home to Area 1G Rotarians in the spirit of Rotary fellowship.

𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟲𝟮𝟬𝟬

Our 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 was held on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the residence of 𝗣𝗔𝗚 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼.

During the meeting, the members discussed:

It was a good start for the club as members shared ideas, made plans, and prepared for future projects and activities.

Together, we continue to build fellowship, serve our community, and 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.

𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

𝘛𝘜𝘉𝘐𝘎𝘖𝘕 𝘌𝘓𝘌𝘔𝘌𝘕𝘛𝘈𝘙𝘠 𝘚𝘊𝘏𝘖𝘖𝘓, 𝘚𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘯, 𝘕𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘴 𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 | 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 1, 2026 — The Rotary New Year began with a meaningful service project as the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁, together with the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟲𝟮𝟬𝟬 and the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, visited Tubigon Elementary School in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

The outreach focused on 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. The team turned over 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 to the school to support 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘺, giving students learning materials that will inspire a love for reading and 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 on future generations.

The volunteers also distributed 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆 filled with 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 to help children prepare for school while promoting 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. They also shared 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘇 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 with the children, their mothers, and their teachers, supporting 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 by providing a nourishing meal while bringing comfort, care, and fellowship to the school community.

The event was graced by 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗳 𝗧𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘀, and 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀 as they began the new Rotary year with a shared commitment to serve, transform lives, and create lasting impact in their communities.

𝘋𝘜𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘜𝘌𝘛𝘌 𝘊𝘐𝘛𝘠, 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘦 30, 2026 — Rotary celebrated a special night at Royal Suites Inn as four new satellite clubs were officially inducted. The program started at 7:00 PM and ended at midnight.

The event was attended by 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 '𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗴' 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, who gave an inspiring message. He was joined by members of the district leadership team. Their presence showed their strong support for the growth of Rotary in Negros Oriental and Siquijor.

𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 – 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻

The evening ended with a happy countdown to the Rotary New Year. At midnight, Rotarians welcomed the new Rotary year with hope, unity, and excitement. Together, they celebrated a new beginning and renewed their commitment to 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 people, build stronger communities, and make a positive difference through service.

RCDE Spouses Conduct Special Fellowship and Planning Meeting

June 11, 2026 | Café Bob's, Dumaguete City

The spouses of the Rotary Club of Dumaguete East (RCDE) gathered for a special meeting and fellowship on June 11, 2026, at Café Bob's in Dumaguete City. The gathering aimed to strengthen camaraderie, build teamwork, and explore possible strategies and activities for future involvement and service.

The evening commenced at 5:30 PM with a shared meal and meaningful conversations. The spouses then participated in three engaging activities. Through these exercises, they discovered that their familiarity with each other is one of their greatest strengths. The activities also highlighted the many values and experiences they share, fostering a deeper sense of connection and unity within the group.

When asked to give a one-word answer to the question, "Why are you in Rotary?", the participants responded without hesitation. Their answers, though varied, could be summed up in three powerful words: sisterhood, service, and community.

And this was evident when they effortlessly and wholeheartedly sang "Through the Years," a fitting reflection of friendship, support, and shared journeys.

Also in attendance were the RCDE President-Elect Jeffrey Lloyd Titong and the RCDE Secretary Joseph Lloyd Arbon, who delighted the group with a surprise performance.

The evening was filled with fun, laughter, and excitement, especially with the four rounds of mini-raffle draws that added to the festive atmosphere. As the gathering concluded, the spouses went home with full bags, filled stomachs, and, most importantly, fulfilled hearts.
