The orientation aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering practitioners and stakeholders regarding the regulatory requirements governing the issuance of Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for Mechanical Engineering Works, Projects, Plants, and Establishments.
The program will cover pertinent laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering, including procedures, documentary requirements, technical standards, and compliance responsibilities. It will likewise emphasize the critical role of regulatory compliance in ensuring public safety, operational reliability, environmental protection, and professional accountability.
Through this activity, participants are expected to gain practical insights into the proper implementation of regulatory standards, address common compliance concerns, and learn best practices for maintaining safe and compliant mechanical engineering systems and operations. Furthermore, the orientation seeks to strengthen collaboration among government agencies, professional organizations, industry partners, and practitioners in fostering a culture of safety, competence, and regulatory excellence within the mechanical engineering profession.
