The NORSU Chemical Society (NCS) is the official student body of the Department of Chemistry at Negros Oriental State University, Dumaguete City.

The organization was established in 1999 as Elemento de Quimica and was renamed to its present name in 2018.

Today, we honor the heroes who gave their lives so that our nation could stand proud and free. Their sacrifices are woven into every color of our flag and every freedom we enjoy today.

Happy pride month loves. This month we celebrate a community that has spearheaded change and evolutuon all throughout history. The LGBTQIA+ community has given so much to the world so we shall repay them with love and respect.

The month of june is not just for celebration, pride is not mearly a month of excess and extravegance. Pride is a reminder that the fight is still ongoing, and we as a collective should strive to aid our siblings for the proliferation of love for all.

Bismuth is an element known primarily for its color and distinctiveness. Yet it is also used in many industries and our daily lives. Like bismuth, the LGBTQIA+ community is a part of the engine we call society and without them we will face hardship. Let us provide them an avenue for fluorishment as they've provided the same for everyone else.

With every measured volume and carefully observed endpoint, they transformed classroom knowledge into laboratory experience. A testament to their growing expertise, perseverance, and commitment to the craft of chemistry. 🧪
