Bagyong "Kalmaegi" has left Canlaon City submerged and struggling. Many families are displaced, homes are damaged, and essential supplies are urgently needed. 💔

The Philippine Red Cross – Negros Oriental Chapter is now accepting donations to help affected families.

Last 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 – 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 proudly participated in a meaningful 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 held at the 𝐃𝐘𝐒𝐑 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐝, 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲. This joint endeavor, led in partnership with the 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐎), was a beautiful reminder of our duty to nurture nature as we serve humanity.

Also lending their hearts and hands were our fellow youth advocates from the 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 – 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, and the passionate future healers of the 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Today, the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 - 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, together with the 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 - 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, proudly takes part in the 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗣𝗥 𝗗𝗮𝘆—a significant day that highlights the importance of equipping every Filipino with lifesaving skills. 🇵🇭

In line with this year’s celebration, we joined hands with the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to conduct a 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗣𝗥 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 held at the 𝗔𝗺𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁. This event served as a platform to empower our communities with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies. Through the active participation of our dedicated volunteers and youth leaders, we helped facilitate the training of basic hands-only CPR to attendees of all ages.

This celebration is more than just an event—it is a movement toward a 𝗖𝗣𝗥-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, where ordinary citizens are prepared to respond when a life is on the line. The act of learning CPR might seem small, but in the face of a cardiac emergency, it can mean the difference between life and death.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in today’s event—from our hardworking volunteers to the supportive community of Amlan. This day highlights the power of 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗣𝗥) in saving lives during sudden cardiac arrest. With more people trained in CPR — especially the youth — we build communities that are prepared to respond in critical moments.

𝗖𝗣𝗥 is a simple skill that can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival when done immediately. It only takes a few minutes to learn, but it can make a lifetime of difference.

Today, we proudly join the nation in observing 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐏𝐑 𝐃𝐚𝐲—a vital step towards creating a culture of preparedness and saving lives. With this year’s theme, “𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: 𝑻𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒂 𝑪𝑷𝑹-𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔,” we emphasize the importance of making CPR knowledge a part of every Filipino's everyday life.

Through CPR training, we equip individuals with the confidence and ability to respond in emergencies, turning ordinary bystanders into lifesavers. It’s not just a skill—it’s a lifesaving act of humanity.
