The Rotary Club of Dumaguete North, led by Community Service Director PP Raphael Orillana together with spouse Marisa Orillana, recently visited the Municipality of Manjuyod to kick off an exciting initiative focused on long-term economic and community development.

In partnership with the Managba farmers, this project marks the beginning of a meaningful journey toward sustainable growth, empowerment, and stronger community ties. 🌱

013126 - The Rotary club of Dumaguete North conducts its 2nd OPLAN K*K or the KALUSUGAN, KAALAMAN, KINABUKASAN at Brgy. Poblacion San Jose. Negros Oriental. The activity was attended by the Brgy Poblacion Officials headed by Brgy. Captain Elmer Siglos.

RCDN conducted a Legal Awareness and Consultation to the Barangay Officials on relevant laws like RA 9262 - Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, RA 10627- Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, RA 11313 - Safe Spaces Act of 2019 also commonly known as β€œBawal Bastos Law”, RA 10175 Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, Barangay Justice System (Katarungang Pambarangay).

RCDN Game Changing President Max Tenorio also led the Citronella Awareness Campaign and Distribution to the participants as part of the club' continued affort to reduce insect-borne diseases in the community.

11292025 - Member of the RCDN Acuwellness Team undergo face-to-face training on Acupuncture through Guasha Application. The training is part of a series of sessions led by Dr. hector dela Cruz of LAMP Acuwellness Foundation. RCDN aims to increase awareness on the alternative acuwellness to the community as part of its community service efforts.

10102025 -- Daycare Learners and Staff of the Managba DayCare Center at Brgy. Managba, Manjuyod, Negros Oriental recieved a laptop, printer and school materials from the Rotary Club of Dumaguete North. The activity is part of the efforts of RCDN to assist the families of members of the Managba Farmer's Association. Earlier in August, RCDN had visited the area for a possible livelihood project that will help improve and develop corn production in Brgy. Managba and nearby areas.
