Diplahan is a fourth class Philippine municipality in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay in Region IX Zamboanga Peninsula which be¬longs to the Mindanao group of islands. It is more or less 220 kilometers from the city of Zamboanga and 62 kilometers from the municipality of Ipil, the provincial Capital of Zamboanga Sibugay. l land area of Zamboanga Sibugay. Songcuya is approximately 942.25 hectares and approximately 3.68% of the total land area of Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay. The survey conducted by the medical students reveals that the total population has 784 individuals with 171 households.
