VERBA LEGIS MOOT COURT

The Verba Legis Moot Court will hold the first-ever internal MLQU SOL Moot Court Competition this June or July. The training for the competition will be facilitated by President John Kevin Samson and Vice-President Christine (Ivy) Manahan. Amongst the competing law students, the participants for the 2026 SEARR/ STETSON and JESSUP CUP will be chosen to represent the school. Congratulations to the delegates from the Southeast Asian Regional Rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition!

University of the Philippines bagged the runner up position while University of San Carlos and Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law emerged as semi-finalists. Singapore Management University also advanced as a quarterfinalist.

Adding to the region's triumph, three of its delegates claimed the top three Best Memorial Award with University of San Carlos winning the Best Overall Memorial.

Three SEARR oralists were also recognized as the Best Oralists during the preliminary rounds led by Graeme Lee Liang Tao of Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law.
