𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 🚨⏰

In celebration of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, we highlight one of last year’s impactful youth initiatives — the “𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲”, held on October 6, 2024 at the Sawata Gymnasium.

This municipal-wide activity, conducted during 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻, brought together youth leaders from all 13 barangays of San Isidro. Through team challenges and hands-on simulations, they learned life-saving skills and built stronger disaster readiness — in partnership with the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and the 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Last April 20, 2025, our SK Pederasyon, together with SK officers from different barangays of San Isidro, joined the Youth Environmental Summit (YES) 2025 at Holy Cross of Davao College, Davao City!

With the theme “Our Power, Our Planet: Youth at the Forefront of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management,” we stood alongside fellow young leaders and advocates from different places, sharing ideas, learning new things, and raising our voices for the environment and disaster resilience!

Because yes — the youth holds the power to lead change, protect our planet, and build a safer future.
