4Ks Organization in action! 🌱

The Barangay Cabidianan community proudly planted 50 hills of malibago along the P2 riverbanks to help protect and restore our environment.

Malibago trees are known for preventing soil erosion, strengthening riverbanks, and providing natural protection against flooding, making our surroundings safer and greener for everyone.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the cooperation of the SK Council under the leadership of Hon. Christian John Ligan, 4Ks Cabidianan and Hon. Bernabe Agad, Committee on Environment.

Together, we grow. Together, we protect nature! 🌍

🌱🌳 TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY SUCCESS! 🌳🌱

Serbisyo Ad Kinaiyahan, together with Barangay Pangutosan, in cooperation with the Sangguniang Kabataan led by Hon. Jeanlyn Batonghinog (Chairperson / 4Ks Federation President), SK Council, 4Ks Pangutosan, and 4Ks Presidents from various barangays, successfully conducted a tree planting activity at the Barangay Forest Park.

A total of 50 hills of Lauan and 10 hills of Banaba were planted as part of our shared commitment to protect and preserve our environment.

These seedlings will provide long-term benefits such as:
🌿 Improved air quality
🌿 Prevention of soil erosion
🌿 Restoration of forest biodiversity
🌿 Contribution to climate change mitigation
🌿 Medicinal and ecological benefits from Banaba trees

This initiative highlights the power of unity, youth leadership, and environmental responsibility within the community. Together, we are building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future!

Today, as we celebrate Araw ng Kagitingan 2026, the 4Ks Organization, together with the Barangay LGU Sasa, successfully planted 25 hills of Lauan and 25 hills of Bitaog in their Tree Park.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the support and cooperation of:

🌿 Why we plant Lauan and Bitaog?

🌳 Lauan
• Helps bring back our natural forests
• Gives shade and cools the surroundings
• Prevents soil erosion and landslides
• Provides shelter for birds and other wildlife

🌳 Bitaog
• Helps prevent soil erosion
• Produces oil from seeds for medicine and other uses
• Improves air quality and provides shade

Serbisyo ad Kinaiyahan 2026 | Barangay Basak 🌳 ✅

A Tree Nurturing Activity was successfully carried out at the Barangay Forest Park in partnership with the SK Council under the leadership of Hon. Shiela Mae Mendoza, together with 4Ks President Ms. Kimberly Llabore.

Together, we nurture the trees we have planted and help them grow from saplings into large, beautiful trees. We remain committed to protecting our environment for a better and more sustainable tomorrow.

Serbisyo Ad Kinaiyahan | Barangay Magading 📍

A tree-planting activity was successfully conducted along the riverbank of Purok 8, Barangay Magading. A total of ten (10) Narra and ten (10) Toog seedlings were planted as part of this environmental initiative.

This activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Magading, under the leadership of Hon. Armando Seno, with the support of the Committee on Environment Chairperson, Hon. Ruel Lubay, and the 4Ks Organization headed by Ms. Krystal Kate Amposta.

🌿 Let us continue to nurture and protect these trees, as they play a vital role in sustaining life and preserving our environment for future generations. Together, let us work towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow. 💚

Serbisyo Ad Kinaiyahan | Barangay Sta. Maria 🌱💚

A total of 60 hills of agoho, 30 hills of bani, and 30 hills of banaba were successfully planted along Pantod Creek in Barangay Sta. Maria as part of our environmental initiative aimed at strengthening riverbanks and protecting our community.

🌲 Agoho – Prevents coastal erosion, acts as a windbreak, and improves soil fertility.

🌳 Bani – Fixes nitrogen in soil, provides shade, and seeds can produce biofuel oil.

🌸 Banaba – Ornamental shade tree; leaves are used to help manage Diabetes.

Overall: improve air quality, reduce erosion, provide shade, and support biodiversity.

This meaningful activity was led by the organization in cooperation with the BLGU, headed by Hon. Lupicinio Bagaslao, together with the Committee on Environment Chairperson, Hon. Ariel Dalapu, and the SK Council of Barangay Sta. Maria headed by Hon. Kelven Silva, along with SK officials, BHWs, Social Worker OJTs, and the 4Ks Presidents from various barangays.

The activity was held on March 7, 2026, demonstrating our shared commitment to environmental protection and community development.
