Youth For Peace Movement - Mawab YFPM Mawab is a Community-based Organization that aims to transform every youth in the Municipality of Mawab into an empowered peacebuilding leader.

The acronym TALBOS when translated to English is a plant’s young bud. The bud symbolizes the youth who are on a stage of exploration and exponential growth. The youth are characterized by enthusiasm, energy, idealism, and willingness to explore. These characteristics when channeled and supported will be translated to productive citizens who will become pa

triotic leaders of the nation. This vision can only be realized when the youth becomes involved among the community and act on their growing capacity hence the word Lihok or act when translated into English. The plant’s bud also symbolizes the primacy of the advocacy of environment protection. The eight persons holding hands symbolize the seven provinces under the 10th Infantry Division which are united and hand-in-hand with the soldiers in the goal of attaining peace and development.
