Manat NHS Scouting Movement - Outfit 358

Some people are called Mama. Some are called Nanay, Mommy, Mom, Ate, Papa, Kuya, Lola, Lolo, Tito, Tita, guardian, or simply “the one who stayed.”

Motherhood has never been limited to just one title or one person. It lives in every act of care, every sacrifice made quietly, every sleepless night, every packed meal, every reminder to get home safe, and every “kumain ka na ba?” after a long day.

It is a job carried 24/7, 365 days a year.

Today, we celebrate every form of motherly love. To everyone who helped raise, protect, guide, and love others with gentleness and strength, thank you.

Tag or mention the person who gave you that kind of love and leave them a message in the comments.

Dominic Savio may have been young, yet his life shows that even the smallest acts of courage and kindness can leave a lasting impact. Alive with faith, joy, and a boundless spirit of service, he touched the lives of those around him and made every moment count.

As Patron Saint of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, his life calls Scouts to lead with heart, act with courage, and turn every small choice into a mark that lasts.

One hundred sixty-nine years ago, the founder of the World Organization Scouting Movement (WOSM), Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, was born. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Davao de Oro Council is one with the Scouting community in celebrating the Founder’s Day, the 22nd of February, 2026.

As we commemorate, let us all be reminded of the principles and mission of the scouting movement. May we all live up to the Scout Law and Oath.
