TABANG KALUMONAN: More Than Medicine, It’s Pag-atiman 💙✨
Brgy. Caatihan, Boston, Davao Oriental | May 29, 2026
Before the sun was high, Brgy. Caatihan was already alive with hope.
Tabang Kalumonan: Medical Mission and Allied Services brought more than check-ups. It brought dignity, care, and smiles to every corner of the community.
Initiated by The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles, Eastern Mindanao Region II - Madayaw Region, and made possible with LGU Boston, Davao Oriental and Land Transportation Office - Region XI, this mission proved that service has many faces:
1. Medical & Dental – Free consultations, medicines, and Operation Tuli for our young boys. Courage met compassion in every procedure.
2. Free Haircut – A fresh cut, a lighter heart. Sometimes dignity starts with looking in the mirror and smiling again.
3. Legal Aid – Because justice shouldn’t be far. IBP Davao Oriental Chapter gave guidance to families who needed answers most.
4. Feeding Program – Full stomachs, fuller hearts. Children laughed over meals while parents breathed a little easier.
5. Tree Planting – We didn’t just heal people today. We planted for tomorrow. Each seedling was a promise to Caatihan’s future.
From lolo and lola getting their blood pressure checked, to kids getting their first haircut, to seedlings pressed into the earth — every act said the same thing: “You are not forgotten.”
To our Kuya and Ate of EMR 2 Madayaw Region, Hon. Mayor Rowel Rosit and LGU Boston, Brgy. Council of BLGU Caatihan, LTO Region XI represented by ARD Joel T. Mandaya and all volunteers—Daghang salamat!
Your hands carried medicine, scissors, legal books, food trays, and tree saplings — but your hearts carried the true service.
Tabang Kalumonan means “Help for the Community.” Today, that help walked the mountain roads to reach home.
