We are so occupied, tired, and yet so incredibly blessed!
Fresh off from our 3-Day Suzuki Summer Music Camp at the Bamboo Sanctuary and Ecological Park in Malagos, Davao City, the Davao Suzuki Youth Orchestra is gearing up for a back-to-back schedule. Catch our special participation at the KWERDAS Culminating Concert on May 30th! Right after, on May 31st, we will be heading to Mountain View College in Bukidnon for the Suzuki Violin Concert and Workshop.

It is indeed a busy year for us, and we aren't even halfway through 2026 yet! We are deeply honored and grateful for all of these wonderful opportunities.

A massive thank you to our incredibly supportive parents and everyone who worked tirelessly to give our musicians the spotlight. Special thanks also go out to Kap Rey Bargamento and Barangay Mintal for their amazing support and Dr.Marlon Sayson and Dr.Marlonsky Chess and Music Center for your generosity and love. We are truly grateful.

We are officially in the "busy, busy, busy" phase, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are so grateful and happy for all the opportunities coming our way!

Our Regular DSYO REHEARSAL will be on Friday, May 8, 2026, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dr. Marlonsky Chess and Music Center.

We will be finalizing our repertoire for the Summer Camp, Cagayan, and Bukidnon performances.

PLUS a Special Performance Update!
We are also gearing up for a very special performance at Matina Town Square Taboan for the Mother’s Day Celebration this coming Sunday, May 10! Let's make sure our pieces are polished and heart-ready for all the loving Moms, Mamas & Nanays out there.

Attendance is mandatory for everyone as we lock in our sets for the upcoming tours. Every chair needs to be filled to get our balance just right!

DSYO REHEARSAL UPDATE

Since the inclement weather kept us apart last Friday, we are making up for lost time this weekend! Please take note of the rescheduled rehearsal details as we prepare for an exciting lineup of upcoming performances.

DSYO Rehearsal will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Dr. Marlonsky Chess and Music Center.

We have a major season ahead, and every minute of rehearsal counts toward our success at:

•PSA Suzuki Music Camp '26
•MVC Concert in Bukidnon
•Collaboration Performance with the Metropolitan Kagay-an Orchestra in Cagayan

We aim for continuous improvement through intentional goal-setting and embracing new learning opportunities. This dedication ensures your ongoing growth as a musician and enriches our collective experience within the orchestra.
