As we gear up for the upcoming Mindanao Art 2026, every practice session brings us one step closer to delivering an unforgettable performance.
To make sure we are fully synchronized and sounding our best, we are calling on every member of the DSYO to gather for an essential Orchestra Rehearsal this coming Friday, September 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barangay Conference Hall in Mintal.
See you there DSYO!

17/09/2026

Please be reminded of our orchestra rehearsal scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM as we prepare for the upcoming Mindanao Art Performance. We are currently negotiating the official event date to ensure it does not conflict with DSYO members' regular school hours, as protecting your academic time remains our priority.
Because this milestone marks our fifth consecutive year participating in Mindanao Art, we want to deliver our strongest show yet and ask everyone to bring their full dedication to tomorrow's practice.
Our sincere gratitude to Kap Rey Bargamento and Brgy Mintal - The Little Tokyo for providing the DSYO an easeful space for our rehearsal.

It's an absolute privilege to collaborate with leading Davao organizations, including the Conrado and Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation Inc. (CLAFI), ALSONS Development and Investment Corporation, the Office of Culture and the Arts, and Poblacion Market Central. Words cannot fully express how deeply grateful we are.

Once again, Orchestra Rehearsal tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2026, 5:00-8:00 PM at Barangay Conference Hall, Brgy Mintal - The Little Tokyo.

We are gearing up for our upcoming performance in Zamboanga, and every single rehearsal counts. It’s a long journey ahead, but this is our moment to show everyone what we're made of. We aren't just student-players—we are Davaoeño musicians, and we carry the heart, pride, and excellence of our home wherever we play!

Thank you Kap Rey Bargamento for providing a conducive space for the DSYO.

‎They say love is sweeter the second time around, and we couldn't agree more!
‎
‎The Davao Suzuki Youth Orchestra was honored to be invited once again by Ms. Vanessa Combate (Conductor, Liturgical Music Composer, and Music EdTech) to perform at the 41st Parochial Town Fiesta of San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish, Boston.
‎
‎It was indeed a sweeter experience thanks to the warmth of the Boston community. We felt an incredible outpouring of love while performing during the Holy Mass alongside the talented musicians of the Tagum City Youth Symphonic Band, the Rizal Memorial Colleges Melodic Brass Cavaliers and SNDTP Choir — a collaboration that brought uplifting, heavenly melodies to all.
‎
‎At DSYO, we deeply value community service and outreach programs, which teach our young members the true spirit of servitude and sharing their God-given talents.
‎
‎The Holy Mass was presided over by Most Rev. Abel C. Apigo, D.D., Diocesan Bishop, who reminded us that generosity strengthens our faith and draws us closer to God. He inspired us to never settle for mediocrity, encouraging everyone to always give their best when serving God and others.
‎
‎This memorable trip was spearheaded by Sir Krizmagnum Ibaos and Robert Melvin Legal alongside parent-chaperones Teacher Carina Carina Roquero Caga-anan , Mrs. Rodilyn Tata Abella , and Mr. Loreto Jr. Bolo .
‎
‎Participating DSYO Members:
‎
‎Leojan Recca Caga-anan
‎
‎Nina Luisa Gorre
‎
‎Elizea Marteen Gajo
‎
‎Jasmine Emerald Caga-anan
‎
‎Brentmar Cabase
‎
‎Aris Gabriel Capinda
‎
‎Forest Bolo
‎
‎Jian Franco Abella
‎
‎Allyza Kaye Tinio
‎
‎Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to these incredible young musicians and team members who endured a 5-hour bus trip just to share their gift of music! To wrap up the joyful celebration, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved beach outing.
‎
‎Thank you to Ms. Vanessa Combate, to our accompanist Sir Emerson, Kagawad Jarid Monredondo and to all kindhearted people of Boston who sponsored the event. To Kap Rey Bargamento and Brgy Mintal - The Little Tokyo, thank you so much for providing a conducive rehearsal space. To MusiCabin Studio, thank you. Of course, to our fellow musicians, the Tagum City Youth Symphonic Band and the RMC Melodic Brass Cavaliers. We look forward to our next collaboration!
‎God bless everyone!

Thank you to everyone who made our recent performance at Poblacion Market Central such a resounding success! Also huge thanks to our ever supportive parents, to Kap Rey Bargamento and Brgy Mintal - The Little Tokyo for the support and providing a space for our regular rehearsal. Special thanks to City High Alumni Band for sharing the stage with the DSYO.

As we look ahead, we’ve received a number of event invitations but we carefully chose those who are not in conflict with school schedule, so we can still balance music and academics smoothly!

So, no time to get lazy, pack your instruments, prep your music sheets, and let’s get ready to play! Rehearsal this Friday, August 28, 2026, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Barangay Conference Hall, Mintal.
