Weโ€™re proud to share that our peer educators successfully completed the EduDev Summit 2025 held last August 1โ€“2 at Assumption College of Davao! ๐Ÿ™Œ

With the theme โ€œAddressing the Mental Healthcare Crisis in Education,โ€ this 2-day, 16 CPD-unit training equipped our team with valuable knowledge and practical tools to strengthen mental health support in our barangay and community.

During the summit, our peer educators:
โœ… Gained insights from experts from DepEd, DOH, CHED, CEAP, and PAASCU
โœ… Engaged in workshops on self-care, early intervention, and community-based mental health initiatives
โœ… Learned about mental health resources and data that can be used to better serve our local communities

BATANG TUGBOKANON IN ACTION! ๐ŸŽ‰

Last June 27, 2025, your Batang Tugbokanon Peer Educators proudly joined the Mindanao Vetting and Validation Workshop on the Costed Operational Plan for Children and Young People and the Comprehensive Package of HIV Services, initiated by the National YKP Network Philippines, and held at Vitamer Function Hall, Davao City! ๐Ÿ™Œโœจ

Together with Nearly 50 fellow youth leaders from across the Davao Region, your Batang Tugbokanon Peer Educators took part in shaping two vital national documents focused on rights-based, youth-friendly, and inclusive HIV services and health programs for children and young people. ๐ŸŒˆโœจ

It was a platform for youth voices to be heard, valued, and transformed into action. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Weโ€™re taking this fire back to our community and continuing the fight for safe, accessible, and youth-centered health services! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š|| Last June 20, the Batang Tugbokanon Peer Educators proudly joined and assisted in the CSE & HIV Awareness Symposium at CPNHS Gymnasium! ๐Ÿ™Œโœจ

This meaningful event was initiated by the Catalunan Pequeno NHS SSLG, in partnership with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines Davao Chapter.

From eye-opening talks on reproductive health, HIV awareness, and healthy relationships to breaking harmful stigma and creating safe spaces for honest conversations โ€” this event proved how powerful kabataang boses can be when we stand together. ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ’ฅ ๐— ๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—˜ ๐—ง๐—›๐—”๐—ก ๐—๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—ง ๐—” ๐—ฆ๐—ฌ๐— ๐—ฃ๐—ข๐—ฆ๐—œ๐—จ๐—  โ€” it was a movement of awareness, empowerment, and hope for safer, smarter, and more inclusive communities.

Last June 18 & 21, 2025, the Batang Tugbokanon Peer Educators proudly assisted in the Comprehensive Sexuality Education sessions in the Badjao Community, Barangay 23-C

From empowering teen moms and youth about adolescent sexual and reproductive health to meaningful conversations with Badjao mothers about consent, healthy boundaries, and relationships, we witnessed how powerful education can truly be in shaping safer, healthier communities. ๐Ÿงก

This isnโ€™t just an outreach โ€” itโ€™s a reminder that thereโ€™s so much more we can do. This experience ignited a fire in us to keep serving, keep educating, and keep standing for the rights and well-being of every kabataan and pamilya in our community. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

TARA, MAG-RECAP MUNA TAYO MGA KA-PEERS!๐Ÿซฐโœจ

Last May 22โ€“24, 2025, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tugbok Proper together with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines Davao Chapter through the Mindanao Young Leaders Programme held a training for our amazing Peer Educators! For three days, they learned about important topics like Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Mental Health Awareness, SOGIESC, HIV and AIDS, and more!

The goal of the training was to help young leaders become more knowledgeable and ready to face the challenges that young people deal with today. Now, our trained Peer Educators are prepared to serve and make a difference in building a better and stronger community!
