In the spirit of Friendship, Love, and Truth, the Eastern Mindanao District ( ) of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows ( ) united in a humanitarian mission to bring hope and relief to our brethren and communities affected by the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck General Santos City and neighboring areas.
On June 20–21, 2026, members from the five lodges of the Eastern Mindanao District -
1) Panabo Kampilan Odd Fellows Lodge no. 82,
2) Cagayan de Misamis Lodge No. 7, Independent Order of Odd Fellows,
3) Oro Central Odd Fellows Lodge No. 28, Mindanao, Philippines,
4) Bukidnon Odd Fellows Lodge No.67, and
5) Dabaw Odd Fellows Lodge No. 52 - Dofl52
— together with a kind-hearted private individual from , joined hands in carrying out the "Project Fountains of Friendship Relief Initiative," a humanitarian effort that provided clean drinking water and essential relief to approximately 1,500 beneficiaries.
Biggiest thank you DDGS RWy ( Airos Ybañez Luap ) Manuel Y. Soria, Jr., PGs,NGs, Officers and to all Odd Fellow members under the Eastern Mindanao District. To our mysterious donor Philanthropist from Tagum City, Madam RT, thank you very much po.
In the aftermath of the disaster, countless families were left without electricity, clean water, and access to basic necessities. Recognizing that water is the very foundation of life, our brothers chose to focus on providing one of humanity's most essential needs. Through this project, we delivered not only clean drinking water but also a message of compassion, solidarity, and hope.
As we commemorated through acts of service, we were reminded that true brotherhood is measured not by words but by our willingness to stand beside those in need. Every bottle distributed, every helping hand extended, and every smile restored reflected the enduring principles of Odd Fellowship—to Visit the Sick, Relieve the Distressed, and uplift our fellow human beings during their most difficult times.
