Ani Philippines will be conducting a seminar on Nonprofit Basics in San Francisco, Agusan this November 11, 2025.

This seminar is designed to help Christian nonprofit organizations get a better understanding of their compliance responsibilities and become faithful stewards of God’s resources. Topics will cover Certificate of Tax Exemption, BIR and SEC requirements.

Pastors, Executive Directors, Board Members, Finance and Admin staff of churches and Christian NGOs are invited to join.

At 9:44 AM on Friday, October 10, a strong earthquake was felt across Mindanao. All Ani Philippines staff were in Davao City, and all experienced the tremor. Those who were in the office promptly evacuated and waited until the building was safe before returning.

We are grateful to report that no damage has been observed in the Ani office, and all staff members and their families are safe. The team is ready to respond as needed.

In times like these, we are reminded of God’s protection and faithfulness. We invite you to join us in praying for:

- Continued safety and calm for all affected communities in Mindanao.

- Protection from aftershocks and other hazards in the coming days.

- Wisdom and discernment for Ani and our local partners as we monitor the situation and discern any response needed.

- God’s peace and comfort to dwell in the hearts of those who are anxious or displaced.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard all our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:7)

At Ani, we think of our core value of Holistic Transformation in terms of "shalom."

Shalom means wholeness, flourishing, and right relationship that God intended for all of creation: with Him, with each other, with creation, and with ourselves. It's the evidence of God’s rule and reign on earth.

But we know the world is broken. We see and experience brokenness everyday. That absence of shalom in our families, communities, and systems is a result of sin.

But what's the good news? Jesus is our Shalom! As Ephesians 2:14 says, "He himself is our peace"—or our shalom.

Through His reconciliation of us and God, we are called to become agents of shalom and holistic transformation in our world. True transformation happens first when we abide in Him, the ultimate source of any fruit we produce (John 15:4-5).

Let’s pray for and actively manifest God's kingdom today—bringing wholeness wherever we go!

Preserving the past, continuing into the future.

This Indigenous People's Month, we want to highlight OMALRACDI's cultural and language literacy program. IP language and culture highlight the beauty of God's tapestry, and OMALRACDI wants to see the Obo Manobo voice joining the chorus of all nations in glory (Revelation 7:9).

Everything we have belongs to God. He has entrusted us with resources, big and small, to care and cultivate. But often times we hold back, opting instead to simply keep and maintain these resources out of fear of failure and idleness. When this happens, we miss out in the joy of partaking in these good gifts.

In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus compares it to a man going on a journey, entrusting his servants with talents according to his ability. When the master returned, he commended the faithful whose talents grew and multiplied, and cast out the servant who simply buried his in the ground.

Faithful Stewardship means recognizing that everything we have — possessions, time, health, relationships — are not our own. Ask yourself: am I investing the “talents” I have been given or am I simply preserving them?

Let’s all strive to do good, faithful work and enter in the joy of our Lord.

Who is my neighbor?

A big part of flourishing with God's shalom is having a right relationship with those around us. Sometimes that means people we don't expect.

Jesus told us not only to love God with everything we have, but also to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. He illustrates an example of a neighbor as a Samaritan, an outcast, caring for a man who had fallen into the hands of robbers. Jesus calls us to go and do likewise.

Are we living out our calling to be a loving neighbor?
