Last July 23-25, Ani Philippines' facilitated a Pastors Retreat at Cagwait, Surigao del Sur. Our partners from the region came together for rest, worship, and drawing near to God, reflecting on the theme "Abide," based on John 15:4-5.

Along with our partners, we were reminded that our striving never sustains us. It's His presence. May the fruit of these days of rest and refreshing overflow into every community these leaders serve 🌱

Over two decades ago, Ptr. Nas and Mina Silava moved to Cagayan de Oro with the calling to reach Northern Mindanao for Jesus 🌄

For many years, there were logistical setbacks: breakdowns on the road in Bukidnon, jeepneys rented at great cost to bring pastors to training, and no vehicle that could really keep up with the scope of the ministry.

This April, that changed. A 15-seater Nissan Urvan, made possible through Ani's partnership with YRWM, now carries Nas and Mina to churches, retreats, and trainings across Northern Mindanao.

And behind the wheel? Ptr. Albert, once an enemy of the church, before his own encounter with Jesus turned his life around. Today, he drives the couple who discipled him and helps build up more communities like his own.

One vehicle. One calling, twenty years strong. Countless ripples still to come 🙏

Last July 2, 2026, we held Faithful Stewardship in Action in Valencia, Bukidnon. It was a privilege to walk through these principles with fellow believers who are committed to serving their communities well.

We thank God for the opportunity, and we look forward to seeing how these brothers and sisters put faithful stewardship into action!
