The road to law school graduation is paved with perseverance, discipline, and countless sacrifices. As your SEMJA-CYF family, we have had the privilege of witnessing your unwavering strength, steadfast faith, and wholehearted commitment as you faithfully balanced the demands of work, ministry, and law school.

Today, we celebrate not only the diploma you have earned but also the character, resilience, and dedication that brought you to this remarkable milestone.

Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to use you as an instrument of His justice and righteousness. As you prepare for the Bar and the legal profession, may your life reflect His heart, fulfilling His call: "Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream." (Amos 5:24)

This is not the finish line but the beginning of an even greater calling. One step closer to becoming an attorney, one step closer to serving others with integrity, wisdom, and compassion.

Congratulations once again to our former SEMJA-CYF President, Ate Ycang! We are incredibly proud of you and will continue to pray for God's guidance and favor as you journey toward the Bar and beyond. May all glory and honor be unto the Lord!

In the wake of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake last June 8, 2026, we the South Cotabato Sarangani District Conference of UCCP are facing loss, fear, and uncertainty as many of our brothers and sisters have been affected.
As we embrace our theme, "Walking with Jesus: Journeying with the Anawim,โ€ we are reminded that Christ calls us to walk closely with the poor, the vulnerable, and those in crisis. In this difficult time, we trust in Godโ€™s mercy and in the kindness of our church community.
With this, we humbly ask for your support as we journey through this time of crisis. You may extend your help through CASH or in-kind donations, as every act of generosity becomes a living testimony of Godโ€™s love, bringing comfort, hope, and restoration to our communities.
Let us walk together, serve together, and journey together in faith.

โ€œLet us be a church that is compassionate, courageous, and united. The journey toward unity continuesโ€”not alone, but with the CBL as our guide and companion as we walk together in faith.โ€

Bishop Jessie S. Suarez, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Convention Committee, shared vital insights into the rationale and history behind our current Constitutional Convention (ConCon) during Opening Worshipโ€”marking a historic milestone for our church body.

Our Constitution and by-laws (CBL) are deeply rooted in theology. Power is not concentrated; authority is shared, and leadership is strictly about responsibility. Reviewing these documents requires deep, intentional listening to one anotherโ€”refusing to be driven by fear or division, but choosing faithfulness to remain in a dialogue of love.

Bishop Suarez also emphasized that our governance documents shouldnโ€™t chain us, but guide us. Amendments can be superficial solutions if they don't address underlying concerns. True reform requires transparent, accountable leadership and a common vision.

After a week since NYAC 2026, we have witnessed different experiences and reflections shared online by delegates from all over the Philippines. It was truly momentous for all of usโ€”each one carrying a unique story to tell.

Us, in ๐Ÿ‘-๐Ÿ‘-๐Ÿ‘ SEMJA, look back and realize that we would not have been able to take part in NYAC 2026 without God working through the people who generously shared their time, treasure, and talents with us.

Hence, this Resolution of Thanks is our way of recognizing and honoring those who stood with us and had our backs as we represented our beloved SEMJA-CYF.

To everyone mentioned hereโ€”and even to those who quietly prayed for usโ€”thank you so much! We declare Godโ€™s favor upon you all.

Starting our journey in Midsayap, North Cotabato we travelled far and wide to gather our family! We picked up delegates all along the way from the regions of SOCKSARGEN, DAVAO, and CARAGA. ๐Ÿ“โœจ

Crossing bridges, sailing seas, and uniting as one. Truly, this is what looks like! All glory to God for a safe and successful journey. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
