The AMLC transaction report for Sara Duterte’s bank account amounting to ₱3 billion needs proper explanation.

That ₱3 billion is not the remaining balance in the account. It represents the total transaction flow (in 20+ years CTRs and STRs 😅) whether debit or credit. Every peso that went in and every peso that went out is counted. (simple explanation)

For example, if you deposited ₱1,000 into your account and then withdrew the same ₱1,000, your balance is zero. But your total transaction becomes ₱2,000 because both the deposit and the withdrawal are included. Simple. Basic. Yet somehow this is being twisted like it is some groundbreaking revelation.

Now take that same logic and apply it to billions. (inflow: 1.8B+ outflow: 1.2B+) Without context, people see ₱3 billion and immediately jump to corruption. But that number alone proves nothing. It only shows movement, not ownership, not misuse, not guilt.

It can be used to start an inquiry, yes. But it cannot stand as evidence on its own. That is not how financial investigation works.

The raw information is not enough to prove anything, let alone be treated as some eureka evidence. No cases have been filed by AMLC against Sara Duterte based on this. Banking everything on that number is honestly a stretch.

The biggest mistery here is this, kaninong math ba ang ginamit? kay Leni Robredo or Heidi Mendoza?
