The chosen beneficiary of this Ignatian Advocacy Project is the SAKADAB community or the SAMAHAN ng may iba't ibang KAKAYAHAN sa DABAW located at Los Amigos, Tugbok District, Davao City. The SAKADAB is a community of differently abled persons who live together to achieve their common goal of becoming self-sustaining. Originally formed in 2010 and formally relocated to Los Amigos in 2013 with the

help of the Gawad Kalinga and City Government of Davao, the SAKADAB currently houses 19 differently abled persons along with their families. The community faces different challenges in their day-to-day lives, and one of the most pressing problems they endure is insufficient income generation. With this, a continuous call to extend financial, in kind, and moral support are much appreciated to at least ease some burden off the members of the SAKADAB and their families. The existence of the SAKADAB nurtures a community spirit that inspires people from all ages that all things are possible despite the different challenges experienced through life.
