Happy Teachers' Day!

We celebrate you! Today UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship joins the world in honoring teachers everywhere: the unsung heroes who give their hearts and knowledge so every learner can grow with courage.

We are especially grateful for the many teachers in our own fellowship. Week after week, in classrooms near and far, you serve your students with patience, wisdom, and love. Your dedication is more than a profession. It is an act of worship and obedience to God, who calls each of us to serve one another faithfully.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." (Colossians 3:23)

Join us!
We will hold a special Teachers Appreciation this Friday, 9 October 2026, during our fellowship gathering. Come and celebrate our teachers with us, and bring a word of thanks for the educators who have shaped your life.

To our teachers: thank you for your sacrifice, your faithfulness, and the many lives you touch. May the Lord renew your strength, fill you with joy, and bless the work of your hands.

Happy Teachers' Day!

Quarterly Meeting of the Council and Ministry Leaders at UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship

We thank and praise God for the wonderful lives of our Council and Ministry Leaders who continue to faithfully serve in the vineyard of the Master.

In our quarterly meeting, we looked back on the past three quarters of our church ministries and looked forward to a mission-focused, Christ-centered discipleship through our wider mission here in Abu Dhabi.

God bless our young leaders! May the Lord guide and strengthen you as you serve.

To God be the glory!

GIVE BACK TO GOD | Week 1 Recap
We Give "Our Fruit | Matthew 21:33–46

What a blessed time of worship we had this World Communion weekend! Our October series, "Give Back to God: Responding to Grace with Our Lives," started with a powerful message from our guest preacher, Rev. Marianne G. Bucud of UMC Abu Dhabi.

Using the Parable of the Tenants, Rev. Marianne showed us four truths:

1. The vineyard belongs to God.

He planted it, put a wall around it, dug the winepress and built the watchtower. That is grace. We are not the owners, only the stewards. “The vineyard is not yours. You are only living in it."

2. The Owner expects a harvest.

God doesn't need anything from us, because He owns the whole world. He asks for fruit because fruit is the proof of a living relationship. Fruit is not the root of our faith but the evidence of it. Grace that is truly received will change a life.

Our fruit can be:
• Character: the fruit of the Spirit
(Galatians 5)

• Generosity: "Give back to God what is God's"

• Witness and service: fruit is meant to be shared

3. When we keep what belongs to God, we reject Him.

The tenants rejected the servants and then the Son. Yet "the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone." This is the heart of the Gospel. The Landowner asked for fruit, and then He gave us His Son so that we could finally bear it.

There is grace even in the warning. The kingdom will be given to "a people who will produce its fruit." That can be you. That can be me, today.

Rev. Marianne invited us to ask, "Lord, what fruit are You finding in my life?" She also left us with this week's challenge:

1. Return something
2. Check your fruit
3. Share your fruit

We are tenants, but we are beloved tenants. The Owner is not a harsh landlord waiting to evict us. He is a Father who gave us everything, including His own Son.

So let us answer that love, not with fear, but with fruit.

Thank you, Rev. Marianne, for sharing God's Word with us so faithfully and warmly, and for joining us at the Lord's Table. Thank you also to United Methodist Abu Dhabi and Oasis of Grace, United Methodist Church for sharing your pastor with us. We were truly blessed!

OCTOBER SERMON SERIES
"Give Back to God: Responding to Grace with Our Lives"

Beloved UCCP Abu Dhabi family, we're excited to share our sermon series for this month!

All through September in “Grace in Action”, we saw how God's grace forgives us, provides for us, and transforms us. This October, we take the next step and ask: having received so much grace, what do we give back?

Our theme comes from the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:21: "Give back to God what is God's."

WEEK 1 | Friday, October 2
We Give "Our Fruit"
Gospel Reading: Matthew 21:33–46

We're blessed to welcome again our guest preacher, Rev. Marianne G. Bucud of United Methodist Church Abu Dhabi!

Come and worship with us, and bring your family and friends! Let's begin this month of grateful giving together around the Lord's Table.

See you on Friday!

COMMUNION FRIDAY
A Day of Remembrance, Gratitude and Surrender

This Friday, we gather at the Lord's Table to remember the night Christ gave Himself for us. His body broken, His blood poured out, all out of love.

Having received such amazing grace, how can we hold anything back? Let's come ready to give back to God what is God's: our hearts, our hands and our lives.

We're blessed to welcome Rev. Marianne G. Bucud of UMC Abu Dhabi as our Guest Preacher. Let's receive the Word she brings with open hearts!

Come, bring your family and friends, and let's worship together as one body in Christ.

"For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." (1 Corinthians 11:26)

There is HOPE for everyone!

The UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship Families and ALAB Chorale warmly invite you to "A Thrill of Hope", a musical Christmas cantata!

Want to be part of this? Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply want to help, join us! Message us or comment below, and we'll get you connected. And if you'd rather listen, save the date and bring your family and friends.

More details will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

No Service Is Too Small

"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

Setting up chairs, preparing food, greeting people at the door, cleaning up after service. These small acts of service are worship too. God sees every one.

Thank you to everyone who serves faithfully!

ONE TABLE. ONE MISSION.

We thank God for the blessing of our 1st Team Building of Table of Grace Ministry (TOG)

Through our theme, CONNECT, COMMUNICATE, SERVE and GO, we learned that team building is also a journey of discipleship:

Connect with Christ and people
Communicate God's love and listen to others
Serve with genuine love
Go and make disciples beyond the table

Go and make disciples… Matthew 28:19

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this day meaningful!

Gathered by Grace. Serving with Love. Proclaiming His Glory.

As we close out our September Sermon Series, "Grace in Action: Living Out God's Generosity in Community," we are profoundly grateful for Rev. James Israel Malacas Cababan for faithfully leading us through this transformative journey.

Three Weeks. Four Truths. One Life-Changing Message.

Week 2: We learned that Grace Forgives breaking the cycle of pain and teaching us to let go.

Week 3: We discovered that Grace Provides showing us God's generous and equal care for all His children, with no one left behind.

Week 4: We understood that Grace Transforms calling us not just to believe, but to act, to let grace reshape our hearts and change our lives.

Each week, Rev. James challenged us: Are we just saying the right words, or are we truly willing to respond to God? Are we merely feeling forgiven, or choosing a new direction? Are we experiencing real transformation that shows up in how we love and serve?

To Our UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship Family:
Thank you for showing up. Thank you for opening your hearts. Thank you for being willing to be challenged and transformed. This is what it looks like when a community truly lives out grace.

Rev. James, your faithfulness, your heart for God's Word, and your willingness to serve us this September has been a blessing we will not forget.

The journey continues. We can't wait to see what God does next.

We've journeyed together through “Grace”—forgiveness, provision, and now...transformation.

For four weeks, UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship has been exploring what it means to live out God's generosity in community. We've learned to let go. We've received freely. And this Friday, we discover the beautiful result:

How Grace Actually Changes Us.

This is the week that ties it all together. When we truly understand God's grace—His forgiveness, His provision, His love—it doesn't stay in our hearts. It flows out through our hands, our choices, our faithfulness to Him and to one another.

If you've been with us all four weeks, you won't want to miss the closing. If you're joining us for the first time, there's never been a better moment.

Come. Listen. Be transformed. Then go and transform your corner of the world.

See you Friday!
