Kasiglahan Respect Peer Peace Youth Core Group

Kasiglahan Respect Peer Peace Youth Core Group After 29 years, we continue our mission to inspire a new generation of peace advocates.

Founded in 1996 in Cotabato City, this youth movement united student leaders across schools to promote peace, leadership,& understanding beyond religion and conflict.

06/02/2026

Happy, happy birthday to one of our pioneer Peace Advocates, Aburajiv “Regi” Manabilang Raj Aba ! 🎉✨

Kute Rej, as we fondly call him, has served the Kasiglahan Core Group from 1998 to 2006—from his high school years through college, and even extending his service as our Junior Program Officer.

He played a vital role in the creation of the Kasiglahan Core Group Alumni Chapter and served as its President for two consecutive terms—the only one to do so. Since then, he has continued to give back as a Lead Facilitator for four batches of our Youth Peace Camps, and as a Speaker on Conflict Resolution, Peer-to-Peer Counseling, Interfaith Dialogue, and Gender Sensitivity.

He was also selected as part of the Facilitating Team of the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute, supporting international peacebuilding participants—an honor that speaks volumes about his commitment and credibility.

Most recently, he spearheaded the Kasiglahan Core Group Reunion, bringing members back together to reconnect, reflect, and reignite the spirit of service.

All of these reflect the leadership he has shown from a young age—his ability to build genuine connections, mobilize the youth, and influence community empowerment.
Your Kasiglahan Family wishes you a blessed, meaningful, and joyful birthday.
We love you, Kute Rej. 💙

Thank you for your lasting contributions to the early days—and continuing journey—of our peacebuilding program.

✨ 1st Kasiglahan Core Group Reunion ✨

Grateful beyond words. 💛
Thank you to everyone from the core group who made the effort to show up for this long-overdue reunion. After 19 long years, we finally found the time to pause, look back, and gather once again—proof that some bonds are simply meant to last.

It was a day filled with endless laughter, stories, and heartfelt reminiscing. We realized that although life has taken us on different paths and distances have kept us physically apart, the connection never truly faded. Kasiglahan has always been our bridge, our common ground—keeping us connected through the years.

Despite the milestones we’ve each achieved individually, our youthful vibes remained, along with the humility and care that still live in our hearts. These are values deeply rooted in our Kasiglahan journey—lessons that time could never erase.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to all the members who generously extended financial support to make this reunion possible. Even in your absence, your presence was strongly felt. Your support meant everything. 🤍

To those who couldn’t make it due to schedule conflicts and priorities, thank you for the constant encouragement and for staying engaged through messages and chats. Your support, in every form, is truly appreciated.

This reunion reminded us of who we were, who we are, and the bond that will always tie us together. We hope this will be the first of many more gatherings to come.

Our humble beginnings were shaped and strengthened by the individuals who equipped our understanding and molded our values. Thank you so much Sister Jean Facultad, Fathee Kevin Stewart, Father Alike, Sister Thelma, Kuya Lavares, Ate Nancy, Ate Anisa B. Dimalanes, Kuya Orson, Ate Ethel, Ate Myla and Kuya James.

Wishing everyone continued success, good health, and genuine happiness.

Because truly—once a KASIGLAHAN, always a KASIGLAHAN. 💫

💚 Kasiglahan Spotlight: Hakeem Mangansakan 💚

Confidence, charm, and character — three words that perfectly capture the spirit of Hakeem “Keem” Mangansakan, one of the bright and inspiring members of the Kasiglahan Core Group whose journey embodies leadership, loyalty, and limitless dreams. 🌟🍀

Keem’s Kasiglahan story began in 2004, when he was still a young student at Cotabato City Central Pilot School (CCCPS). Even then, it was clear that he was destined for great things — a smart, jolly, and outspoken kid whose ideas were always delivered with conviction and his signature infectious smile. 😊

A consistent honor student, school publication writer, and student leader, Keem possessed both intelligence and humility — a rare blend that made him admired by teachers and peers alike. Despite his many achievements, he remained approachable and kind, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh with anyone. 💫

His involvement with Kasiglahan deepened as he entered Notre Dame of Cotabato for high school, where he continued to participate actively in the group’s activities. It was here that he connected closely with senior core members, gaining wisdom and guidance that would later shape his personal and professional journey. 💚

After high school, Keem pursued his passion for food and innovation by earning a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology at University of the Philippines - Mindanao — a path that perfectly aligned with his curiosity and creativity. His passion soon translated into a career, as he began his professional journey with McDonald’s, where he worked diligently for eight years, steadily rising through the ranks. 🍔✨

His hard work and loyalty paid off — Keem’s commitment to excellence and people management earned him the position of Branch Manager in the Philippines. But his story didn’t stop there. Taking his dreams a step further, he ventured abroad and is now proudly serving as a General Manager at McDonald’s in Canada, proving that loyalty, perseverance, and heart can take you anywhere in the world. 🌍🇨🇦

From a young peacebuilder in Cotabato City to a global leader in the food industry, Keem’s journey is a reminder that success is built not just on talent, but on humility, consistency, and a genuine love for what you do. 💚

We are beyond proud of you, Keem, for representing the true essence of Kasiglahan — leading with passion, staying grounded, and bringing joy wherever you go. 🌟

💚 Kasiglahan Spotlight: Norainee Piang Guialudin, RN 💚

Grace, brilliance, and compassion — these are the words that best describe Norainee “Ainee” Piang Guialudin, a woman whose beauty radiates not only outwardly but from the kindness and intelligence that have guided her every step. 🌸✨

Ainee’s Kasiglahan journey began in 2002, when she was a student at CCNHS Main Campus School of Champions. A consistent honor student and student council officer, Ainee was the kind of leader who commanded quiet respect — confident, capable, yet always humble and kind. Her warm smile and gentle spirit made everyone around her feel welcome, while her discipline and drive made her an inspiration among peers. 🌿

As one of the active members of the Kasiglahan Core Group, Ainee participated in countless activities and peacebuilding programs, showing deep commitment to advocacy and youth empowerment. Even after high school, her dedication did not end — she continued as part of the Kasiglahan Alumni Network, proving that leadership doesn’t stop when school does. 💚

In college, Ainee pursued her passion for service by taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Notre Dame University, where she graduated and soon earned her license as a Registered Nurse. Her intelligence and work ethic paved the way for a promising career abroad, where she truly made her mark in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

From Neonatal ICU Specialist to NICU Supervisor, and later as part of the Quality Management Team of King Fahd Central Hospital, Ainee played a key role in the hospital’s Joint Commission International Accreditation — a global recognition of medical excellence. Her journey is a testament to her competence, leadership, and heart for service. 🩺🌍

Yet despite all the success and comfort abroad, Ainee’s heart remained close to home. Guided by purpose and love for her roots, she made the brave decision to return to Cotabato City, choosing to serve her own people once again. Today, she holds the post of Local Government Operations Officer VI at the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) – Maguindanao del Norte Provincial Field Office, where she continues to live out the Kasiglahan values of peace, leadership, and compassion in public service. 🌟🇵🇭

From her beginnings as a young peacebuilder to her rise as a respected leader in both healthcare and governance, Ainee’s story reminds us that true success is not just about reaching the top — it’s about coming home and giving back. 💚

We are proud of you, Ainee, for showing that beauty, intelligence, and kindness can coexist — and that service with heart is the most inspiring form of leadership. 💫

💚 Kasiglahan Spotlight: Donna Juliano – Villapando, CPA, MAcc 💚

Quiet strength, unmatched intelligence, and a heart grounded in humility — these words perfectly describe Donna “Don” Juliano – Villapando, one of Kasiglahan’s pride and shining examples of dedication and excellence. 🌿✨

Don’s journey with Kasiglahan Core Group began in 2003, when she was just a graduating student at Cotabato City Central Pilot School (CCCPS). She was one of the youngest participants during the Peacebuilding Camp in Makilala, North Cotabato, but her presence stood out — not because she spoke the loudest, but because every word she shared carried depth and curiosity beyond her years. 💫

As a young girl armed with intelligence and charm, Don actively participated in group discussions, showing early signs of leadership and empathy. Her gentle demeanor masked a fierce determination to learn and make a difference.

When she entered Notre Dame of Cotabato, she became even more involved — helping organize assemblies and re-echo sessions in their school, proving that leadership is not always about being in front, but being consistent and dependable behind the scenes. 🌸

Don’s quiet dedication continued through her college years at Notre Dame University, where she took on one of the toughest courses — Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Despite the challenges, she pushed through with grace and discipline, eventually passing the CPA board exam — a true testament to her perseverance and brilliance. 🎓💼

Her hard work opened doors to a promising career with Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo, where she honed her skills as a professional accountant. But Don never stopped there. With a passion for growth and learning, she pursued and earned her Master in Accounting at Kaplan Business School in Australia.

Today, Don continues to make waves in her field as a Management Accountant at Otraco International Pty Ltd in Perth, Australia — a role that not only showcases her expertise but also the values of excellence, humility, and compassion that Kasiglahan has long instilled in its members. 🌏💚

From a shy little girl in Cotabato to a respected professional abroad, Don’s journey reminds us that success is not just about intelligence — it’s about consistency, integrity, and the courage to keep moving forward quietly but purposefully. 🌟

We’re so proud of you, Don — for being a true example of what it means to lead with grace and to achieve with heart. 💚
