READ | Message of the Bangsamoro Ameerul Mujahideen, Chairman of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front Central Committee (M**F-CC), and President of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), Al Haj Murad Ebrahim on the Celebration of Eid’l Adha 1447 AH.

“Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.

Assalamualaikum Warahmahtullahi Wabarakatuhu.

I am with the entire Muslim Ummah in celebrating Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.

It is of utmost significance that we live up to the commemoration of one of the greatest feasts in Islam.

May this celebration symbolize our resilience in overcoming the challenges brought by conflicts, disasters, and economic hardships that have affected our livelihood in recent years.

May we embrace the true essence of Eid’l Adha by strengthening our faith, promoting Moral Governance, helping build our nation, and working together for lasting peace.

Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum salihal amal.

Wa kullu amin wa antum bikhair.

Wa billahi tawfiq wal hidaya,

Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.

IPS Members Support BCTP/2 in Maguindanao del Norte

BDA Inc. together with CFSI and the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples Affairs (MIPA), conducted a meeting with the members of Indigenous Political Structure (IPS) on April 23, 2026 in Brgy. Nuro, Upi, Maguindanao del Norte.

As part of the process, BDA Inc. and CFSI are working to secure Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), a process whereby IP community members collectively decide whether to accept or reject projects, through the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs (MIPA).

IPS plays a significant role in empowering the communities’ capacity to manage their ancestral domains and exercise self-governance.

Moreover, Indigenous people (IP) sector is among the beneficiaries of BCTP/2, specially located in the covered camps of Badre and Omar.

Through the meeting, IPS members showed support for the implementation of the project through provision of consent to planned activities throughout the period.

BCTP/2 is implemented by the BDA Inc., as lead community implementing partner and the CFSI - Community and Family Services International, as the grant recipient and implementing agency.

BCTP/2 is one of the projects funded by the Bangsamoro Normalization Trust Fund (BNTF), administered by the World Bank with contributions from Australia, Canada, European Union and United Kingdom.

Community Wide Orientation

The activities were carried out from April 3 to 14 2026, across the 17 barangays situated within the previously acknowledged camps of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) namely, Abubakar, Badre, Omar, Rajamuda, Bilal, Bushra.

The community wide orientation is among the significant activities under the Bangsamoro Camps Transformation Project, Phase 2 (BCTP/2). A key element of the activity is the conduct of community diagnostics - a process facilitated to assess local conditions, needs and priorities.

BCTP/2 is implemented by the BDA Inc., as lead community implementing partner and the CFSI - Community and Family Services International, as the grant recipient and implementing agency.

Orientation Prepares BCTP/2 Field Enumerators for Household Survey Rollout

A total of 68 field enumerators were trained and oriented by BDA Inc. and CFSI for the Bangsamoro Camps Transformation Project, Phase 2 (BCTP/2) during a two-day activity held on April 15–16, 2026 in Cotabato City.

The orientation aimed to ensure that all enumerators are aligned with their roles and responsibilities, ethics, field protocols, and data quality expectations significant to the project’s implementation.

Enumerators were provided with an overview of the different stages of BCTP/2, with particular emphasis on the role of the household survey in supporting evidence-based planning and decision-making.

As part of the training, facilitators installed the KoboCollect application on the participants’ mobile devices and organized a hands-on simulation of the household survey tool to enhance the participants’ familiarity with the data collection process.

BDA and CFSI emphasized that the activity serves as a critical step in preparing the enumerators for field deployment across BCTP/2 sites. Moreover, the household survey is a significant part of the community diagnostics approach of the BCTP/2.
