As the new academic year begins, the Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - NDU Student Chapter proudly opened its doors for Recruitment 2026 last July 11.

It was a day filled with energy, passion, and camaraderie as aspiring mechanical engineers came together to take their first step in joining a community built on teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

This recruitment marks not just the start of another academic journey, but also the beginning of new friendships, opportunities, and shared goals. Kudos to the organizers and participants for making this event a success, here’s to a year of growth, learning, and achievements with JPSME!

The 3rd PSME Mindanao Regional Student Convention has officially come to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been. From Day 1 to the final moments, every experience was filled with learning, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.

We are proud to share that our chapter emerged as the 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 🏆—a testament to the hard work, teamwork, and dedication of every delegate who gave their all throughout the competition.

This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance and support of our advisers, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐥, and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. Plant Tour Highlights | Yakult, El Salvador City 📍

As part of the 3rd PSME Mindanao Regional Student Convention, delegates had the opportunity to explore the Yakult plant in El Salvador City, gaining firsthand insight into real-world industrial and manufacturing processes.

The visit provided a deeper understanding of production systems, quality control, and the technology behind one of the most recognized probiotic drinks. It was a valuable learning experience that bridged classroom knowledge with actual industry practices.

A meaningful and enriching experience that inspires future engineers to innovate and excel in the field. 🔧✨

The spotlight of the day was the Trivia Wars competition, where participants put their wits and general knowledge to the test. From challenging questions to intense rounds, every team showcased quick thinking, teamwork, and determination.

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | Last April 23–24, 2026, the 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 – 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙅𝙋𝙎𝙈𝙀) proudly represented our institution at the 3𝙧𝙙 𝙅𝙋𝙎𝙈𝙀 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 held at SM Downtown, Cagayan de Oro City.

The event brought together delegates from 10 universities across Mindanao, creating an environment filled with learning, collaboration, and a shared passion for mechanical engineering. It was truly a meaningful experience—and through the team’s collective effort and dedication, we are honored to have emerged as the Overall Champion. 🏆✨

The Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – NDU Student Chapter warmly carried out its Iftar Drive and relief goods distribution in celebration of the blessed month of Ramadan. In this meaningful time of reflection, generosity, and unity, we were able to share not just food and essentials, but also hope, kindness, and a sense of community to those in need.
