The 3rd PSME Mindanao Regional Student Convention has officially come to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been. From Day 1 to the final moments, every experience was filled with learning, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.

We are proud to share that our chapter emerged as the 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 🏆—a testament to the hard work, teamwork, and dedication of every delegate who gave their all throughout the competition.

Plant Tour Highlights | Yakult, El Salvador City 📍

As part of the 3rd PSME Mindanao Regional Student Convention, delegates had the opportunity to explore the Yakult plant in El Salvador City, gaining firsthand insight into real-world industrial and manufacturing processes.

The visit provided a deeper understanding of production systems, quality control, and the technology behind one of the most recognized probiotic drinks. It was a valuable learning experience that bridged classroom knowledge with actual industry practices.

A meaningful and enriching experience that inspires future engineers to innovate and excel in the field. 🔧✨

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | Last April 23–24, 2026, the 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 – 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙅𝙋𝙎𝙈𝙀) proudly represented our institution at the 3𝙧𝙙 𝙅𝙋𝙎𝙈𝙀 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 held at SM Downtown, Cagayan de Oro City.

The event brought together delegates from 10 universities across Mindanao, creating an environment filled with learning, collaboration, and a shared passion for mechanical engineering. It was truly a meaningful experience—and through the team’s collective effort and dedication, we are honored to have emerged as the Overall Champion. 🏆✨

𝐉𝐏𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐍𝐃𝐔 𝐆𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋! 🇵🇭✨

Nine passionate delegates proudly represented our chapter at the 15th PSME Students’ National Conference held at the SMX Convention Center, Manila! 👨🏻‍🔧💛💙

Our delegates showcased their skills and passion for mechanical engineering as they competed alongside 43 schools nationwide in the following events:
🔹 National Quiz Bee - Coach: Engr. Fahad Sakal (🏅21st Place )
🔹 Formula ME: Machine Design - Coach: Engr. Ivan Mark Pasion (🏅4th Place )

Although we didn’t all bring home the top prize, we carried with us the true spirit of perseverance, excellence, and pride as future mechanical engineers. This remarkable journey stands as a meaningful milestone for our chapter; a testament to our renewed determination and passion, especially as it marks the first time in years that the JPSME Cotabato City Chapter has made it to the Nationals! 🙌🏻

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Mayor Bruce "BM" Matabalao, PSME Cotabato Chapter President Engr. Mohaimen Kamid Pasandalan, and Mr. Virgilio Deloria for their generosity, trust, and steadfast support that made this journey possible. Their unwavering belief in our chapter and consistent encouragement became the driving force that fueled our determination to give our best. Through their guidance and kindness, we were inspired to carry the name of Cotabato City with pride, confidence, and excellence—reminding us that success is not only measured by victories, but also by the people who believe in our potential.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to our dedicated advisers, Engr. Ivan Mark Pasion and Engr. Fahad Sakal, whose constant guidance, mentorship, and presence throughout the competition gave us the confidence to push beyond our limits. Their patience and leadership were vital in shaping our delegates into stronger and more capable future engineers.
