Zach 💚
No time like the present to reintroduce Zachy after this week’s chaos… 🙄
Zach (or Zachy), Balweg (the name Felix gave him), and formerly known as Jack before being changed, and is more affectionately known around the shelter as THE TROUBLEMAKER.
He was rescued in September 2025 after being found alone at the side of the road, covered in ticks and fleas. Since then, he’s become best mates with Mayo, and together they’ve recruited Maxie into a gang whose sole purpose seems to be causing absolute chaos.
Zach is a confident young boy who will always stand his ground. He recently stole the title of Chief Escape Artist from Ziggy and Mia, which landed him in a bit of trouble this week. After we raised the fences to ridiculous heights, Zach apparently took it as a personal challenge to clear them. Sadly, his leap ended with a serious injury, but thankfully he’s still here to tell the tale.
If there were a Dog Olympics, I’d put money on Zach taking the crown in the high jump🥇😂
Despite all the mischief, Zach is one of the sweetest, happiest boys you’ll ever meet. He’s full of confidence, loves life, and keeps everyone at the shelter on their toes.
