The Local Government Unit of Santa Ana successfully conducted the CSO Conference on August 5, 2025, at the FITS Hall, Centro, Santa Ana, Cagayan.
The conference aimed to remind Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of their vital role in the community and to encourage them to seek accreditation in order to become members of the Local Special Bodies (LSBs)—fostering greater participation in local governance for the common good.
The program began with registration of participants, followed by an opening prayer led by Ms. Mary Joy Mariano. This was followed by the acknowledgment of participants by Ms. Glydelle M. Raquiño. The Municipal Vice Mayor, Catherine J. Ladrido then delivered a warm and inspiring welcome message.
Ms. Jane A. Conceja, CSO Desk Officer Designate, gave an overview of CSO accreditation, while Mr. Michael G. Villamin discussed the Selection of Representatives to the Local Special Bodies.
The conference concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from Hon. Jerome Ryan Robinion, Member of the Sangguniang Bayan.
