Basa Isla learning session ✨

We listened and shared about reading, storytelling, and the role of the entire community in fostering literacy of children.

Ms. Linda Aronson, a retired principal and reading specialist, shared a comprehensive system and method to teach reading to younger children. Dr. Mary Loe Singson of CIT-U shared the importance of the active involvement of adults in guiding and supporting children to read. Ms. Mayumi Maghuyop also shared about looking into the bigger picture of teaching reading - in the initial journey of reading teachers, how do we support them in supporting children to read? Lastly, Ms. Mary Rose Naghuyop shared a beautiful way to engage children to read with others - a Readers Theater!

Basa Isla sa Kampingganon 🌸

Nagstorytelling kag art activities kami bahin sang kinaiyahan sa NHA Kampingganon sa miagi nga semana. Nalipay kami nga nakashare kag nakaisturya upod sa mga puya sang importansya sa pagamping sang kinaiyahan - sang tubig, sang duta, kag sa tanan nagpuyo diri. 🐛
