SEPAK TAKRAW BASIC SKILLS TRAINING

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Open to Boys and Girls | Ages 7–17

Are you ready to learn, play, and level up your skills this summer?
Join our 10-Day Sepak Takraw Grassroots Training Program designed to introduce and develop the fundamental skills of Sepak Takraw in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Venue: Langub Elementary School
Schedule: May 4–15, 2026 | 8AM to 11AM
Duration: 10 days (3 hours per session)

Training Fee:
Ages 7–11: ₱30.00 per session
Ages 12–17: ₱50.00 per session
A 5% discount will be granted to participants who opt to pay the full training fee in advance for the entire duration of the program. The training fee will be used to support training expenses, including free drinking water, equipment use and maintenance, facilities maintenance, and rewards for outstanding trainees.

What’s Included:
Basic skills training (footwork, kicking, control, and gameplay)
Fun and structured drills for all skill levels
Guided coaching and supervision throughout the program
Certificates will be awarded to trainees who complete at least Phase 1 of the training (6 sessions minimum).

Limited slots only. Participation will be on a first-register, first-served basis to ensure quality training and proper guidance.

‎Asturias, Cebu — Medalists from the Provincial Meet 2026 representing the Municipality of Asturias were formally recognized by the local government on April 7, receiving cash incentives in honor of their remarkable achievements and valuable contribution to the town’s success in the recent competition.
‎
‎The awarding ceremony was led by Vice Mayor Renie P. Yaras on behalf of Mayor Dana Andrew Dumdum, who is currently on leave. The initiative underscored the municipality’s appreciation for the athletes’ discipline, determination, and outstanding performance on the provincial stage.
‎
‎Among those honored were gold medalists Kaye Sanipa and Jacob Conejo of Sta. Lucia National High School, along with Aleeyah Trazo of Looc Norte National High School, each receiving ₱7,000. Silver medalists Marilyn Durado and Jenily Tapil were awarded ₱5,000 each, while bronze medalists Jay Santerna, Jacob Encabo, and Carlo Cortel received ₱3,000 each.

‎In addition, gold medalists Sanipa and Trazo were featured in Estoryang Asturiasnon, where they shared their personal experiences and insights from the competition. The athletes were accompanied by their coach, Shajara D. Tablason, whose mentorship played a crucial role in their achievements.

‎The recognition underscores the local government’s strong support for grassroots sports and the dedication behind every athlete’s success.
