𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔 2026 | 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗦𝗜𝗞 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗔 𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡

Ngayong Agosto, sabay-sabay nating ipagdiwang ang Buwan ng Wika — isang buwan ng paggunita, pagmamalaki, at pagpapayaman sa wikang nag-uugnay sa atin bilang mga Pilipino.

Sa makabagong panahon, kasama na natin ang Artificial Intelligence o AI sa halos lahat ng bagay. Mas napabilis nito ang pag-access sa impormasyon, pagsasagawa ng pananaliksik, at pagkatuto. Pero sa gitna ng bilis ng teknolohiya, huwag nating kalimutan:
Ang AI ay kasangkapan lamang. Ito ay katulong sa pag-aaral, hindi kapalit ng ating sariling pag-iisip, pagsusuri, at pagkamalikhain.

Ang tunay na talino ay hindi nasusukat kung gaano kabilis tayo makahanap ng sagot. Nasusukat ito sa kakayahang umunawa, magtanong, magsuri, at magpahayag — lalo na gamit ang sarili nating wika.
Ang Wikang Filipino ang nag-uugnay sa ating kasaysayan, kultura, panitikan, at pagkakakilanlan. Ito ang tulay natin sa nakaraan, at susi natin sa kinabukasan.

Kaya ngayong Buwan ng Wika 2026, hamon sa ating lahat ay gamitin natin ang teknolohiya nang may responsibilidad at integridad. Gamitin natin ang AI para mas mapalawak ang kaalaman, pero huwag nating hayaang mawala ang boses, puso, at talino ng isang Pilipino.

Patuloy nating mahalin, pahalagahan, at gamitin ang Wikang Filipino.
Dahil sa bawat salitang binibigkas natin, nabubuhay ang diwa ng pagka-Pilipino.

Maligayang Buwan ng Wika! Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino! 💜

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: CLASS SUSPENSION | AUGUST 6, 2026

Please be informed that there will be NO CLASSES on Thursday, August 6, 2026

This is in observance of the 457th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Cebu. Pursuant to Republic Act 7698, a special non-working holiday will be implemented across the entire Province of Cebu — including all highly urbanized cities and municipalities.

This means that there will also be NO WORK in both government and private offices province-wide on this day.

As we commemorate Cebu’s rich history, culture, and heritage, let us take this time to reflect, rest, and celebrate with our families and communities.

Please be guided accordingly, Lucinians. Let’s honor the legacy of our province while staying safe and responsible.

KNOW IT BEFORE YOU DO IT⚠️

Our students from SLNHS attended an important orientation with officers from Asturias PNP for a hard-hitting awareness session with Lucinians.

This orientation highlighted real issues that affect the youth today such as:

* ANTI-BULLYING
Bullying in any form — Physical, Verbal, Social, or Cyber — is NOT acceptable. It is punishable by law.

* SAY NO TO GANGS
Gang involvement leads to violence, trouble, and a ruined future. Choose leadership, not destruction.

* NO TO DEADLY WEAPONS
Carrying weapons inside school premises is strictly prohibited and comes with serious legal penalties.

* PHYSICAL INJURIES - RPC ART. 262
Hurting others can lead to criminal charges, fines, and imprisonment. Think before you act.

We believe that an informed student is an empowered student. Let’s build a school where respect, discipline, and safety come first.
