As another election season approaches, informed choices begin with informed citizens. Tubura-Knows: A Voters' Education Training equips Tuburanon Youth with the knowledge and critical perspective needed to become responsible, discerning, and empowered voters.

Because democracy is not only exercised on election day, but, it is strengthened every time a citizen chooses to know before they vote.

SK ORDER NO. 01, SERIES OF 2026

Today, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Putat officially organized its 𝑺𝑲 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 (𝑺𝑲𝑰𝑻) in preparation for the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

This initiative is pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-021, ensuring the proper inventory and turnover of SK properties, financial records, documents, and other accountabilities for a smooth, transparent, and orderly transition.

Together, we continue to uphold integrity, accountability, and good governance in serving the youth of Barangay Putat.

As part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council invites the youth of Barangay Putat to showcase their creativity and tell their unique stories through A Day in my Life as a Youth:Vlogging Competition with the theme Theme: “Living with Purpose, Dreaming with Passion”

This competition seeks to showcase the passions, aspirations, talents, and daily lives of today's youth while encouraging positive values, fostering creativity, and promoting meaningful digital storytelling.

💰Prizes:
1st Place: 3,000.00
2nd Place: 2,000.00
3rd Place: 1,000.00
Consolation Prize: 500.00

📌Vlogging Competition Criteria for Judging:
•15%-Number of Views
•15%-Number of Reactions
•70%-Judges’ Criteria:
*Creativity and Originality 25%
*Storytelling and Message 25%
*Visual Quality and Editing 20%
•Total 100%

📌Vlogging Competition Mechanics and Guidelines :
•Participants must be a bonafide resident of Barangay Putat
•There will only be 5 slots available for this competition. First Come, First Served Basis via Google Form Registration. Registration Link will be closed once the slots are full. Registration Link: https://forms.gle/v1rSZBSw7KRr5NsZA
•Video content must be in line with the
Theme: “A Day in my Life as a Youth: Living with Purpose, Dreaming with Passion”
•The video must be in a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.
•The video must be in a landscape format.
•The video must not contain any vulgar words or actions. Points will be deducted to those who’ll fail to obey such.
•Video Entries must be uploaded via a designated Google Link Drive to be provided by the organizers on or before the date of submission.
•The deadline of video entries will be on August 20, 2026.
•The video will be posted on the SK page.

📌Views and Reactions cut-off will be on August 25, 2026 at 12:00 Noon.

We are looking for 25 qualified beneficiaries who will undergo NC II Training in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)—a valuable skill that opens doors to employment and livelihood opportunities.

This program is made possible through the Office of Board Member Lorenz Lagon, whose continued support has opened doors for more Tuburanons to gain industry-recognized skills and training opportunities.
