NU Cebu ANINAG AWARDS 2025 & PAGPANUMPA 2026

From being recognized for the work that every organization has done, to pledging ourselves to the work yet to come.

The Debug Society proudly participated in this meaningful occasion, joining fellow student leaders in recognizing achievements through the Aninag Awards and witnessing the oath-taking of individuals committed to leading with integrity and purpose through Pagpanumpa 2026.

Because leadership is not just about being seen — it is about showing up, stepping forward, and choosing to serve.

Celebrating Grace, Faith, and Inspiration!

On this day, September 8, 2026, the NU Cebu Computer Science Debug Society honors the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Just as her birth gave the dawn of hope for the world, may we be inspired to bring light, purpose, and positive impact to our community through our passion, technology, and service.

Wishing all students, faculty, and members a peaceful and blessed celebration!

"𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝓉𝒶𝓊𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝓂𝑒 𝒶 𝓁𝑜𝓉" - Paths by Niki

Debuggies, only one day left before our first midterms officially grace us.

Remember, one exam does not define how capable, intelligent, or hardworking you are. Do your best, trust what you have learned, and take each question one at a time.

If you forget an answer, breathe. If an exam feels difficult, keep going.

And if things do not go exactly as planned, remember that you still have more chances to learn, improve, and come back stronger. After all, we can survive a heartbreak, but can we survive a 50-item exam we did not review for?

So put the mixed signals aside, open those reviewers, and lock in! Ika nga ni AM Fernandez, "Try lang natin. Tapos if it doesn’t work, then at least we tried.”

Good luck, Debuggies! May your minds stay sharp, your answers be right, and your scores make all that cramming worth it.

NU CEBU PAGHIUSA ORG EXPO 2026 HIGHLIGHTS

The NU Cebu Computer Science Debug Society proved that we are back on track as we had an exciting day at the PAGHIUSA Org Expo 2026, engaging CebuaNUs from morning until afternoon with games, challenges, and plenty of memorable moments!

The booth featured a Typing Test Race, Photobooth, and Tekken 8 , with the Tekken matches becoming a crowd favorite as students competed, cheered each other on, and enjoyed some friendly competition.

But of course, behind all the fun was the hard work and teamwork of the NU Cebu Computer Science community. From preparing the booth and setting up the activities to assisting participants throughout the event, everyone worked together to make the experience possible.

PAGHIUSA 2026 was a great reflection of the unity, creativity, and dedication of the NU Cebu Computer Science community—and a day filled with fun, competition, and shared memories.

Before NU CEBU PAGHIUSA 2026 officially begins tomorrow, here are a few important reminders for everyone joining us! 💙💛

Attendance validation requires TWO STEPS:

Post a photo of your completed LETTER HUNT on the official NUCSG Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Submit the same photo through the designated Microsoft Forms.

Both submissions must be completed within one week after PAGHIUSA 2026. Failure to complete either step will result in invalid attendance.

Please note that attendance is mandatory for end-of-term clearance. If you are unable to attend, you must submit a formal letter of excuse addressed to the Debug Society President.

All participants are also expected to observe proper decorum throughout the event. Most importantly, we encourage everyone to enjoy the occasion, connect with others, and make the most of the PAGHIUSA experience.

The countdown is almost over. Tomorrow, we come together, discover new opportunities, meet new people, and celebrate what it truly means to PAGHIUSA.

See you tomorrow at PAGHIUSA 2026, NU Cebu.

14/08/2026

Before the NU CEBU PAGHIUSA officially begins tomorrow, we went around National University Cebu to find out what our students and staff are thinking.

Are they excited? What are they looking forward to the most? Which part of the expo are they most curious about?

From meeting new people and discovering different student organizations to finding communities that match their interests, our NU Cebu community has plenty to look forward to. We asked them these questions and let them share their thoughts, expectations, and excitement for one of the campus events happening tomorrow.

Watch the reel and hear what our students and staff had to say. Their answers might just make you even more excited for what’s coming.

The countdown is almost over. Tomorrow, we come together, discover new opportunities, meet new people, and experience what it truly means to PAGHIUSA.

See you at the PAGHIUSA Organization Expo, NU Cebu.

NU SINGAPORE VISIT HIGHLIGHTS | Last August 3, 2026, National University Cebu proudly welcomed our guests from NU Singapore for an inspiring cross-cultural and educational exchange.

Our Computer Science Department, in partnership with the AWS Student Builder Group - NU Cebu, showcased the best of NU's tech community by setting up an interactive booth and presentation, highlighting innovative projects created by our own CebuaNUs, and student-led initiatives.

The engagement didn't stop there—our 2nd-year Computer Science students also actively participated in an insightful seminar, learning directly from industry and academic perspectives to further sharpen their skills for the future.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a resounding success! Here’s to building stronger international ties and continuing to empower the next generation of tech leaders.
